It had been a week already. Mei Li went into her room to see that Luhan was already in bed – again. He had been sleeping early all the time without waiting for her now. Actually, he had been pretty distant to her the whole week – never trying to hold her hand or circle his arm around her waist like he usually would. 

Is he mad at me? Mei Li wondered.

This time, she noticed that he wasn't wearing a shirt! "OPPA!" she shouted at him as she jumped onto the bed.

He didn't move or show any reaction at all. "Oppa, you're already asleep?" she asked.

He didn't answer so she shook him. "I told you not to sleep shirtless."

Still no answer. She slapped him gently. "Oppa!"

He turned over to the side so that his back would face her, completely ignoring her commands. With a frustrated sigh, Mei Li laid down beside him as far away as possible. She felt awkward sleeping close to a shirtless person – it wasn’t anything against Luhan.

***flashback***

Kris oppa can be fun to talk to behind his serious personality.

Mei Li closed the door and headed to the bed. The lights were off and Luhan was already lying there, his back facing the ceiling while his head was buried in the pillow.

"Oppa, are you okay?" Mei Li asked as she crawled onto the bed, turning on the bedside lamp.

He nodded and changed his position, his back now facing her. Oppa...

"Are you sure?" she asked worriedly.

Once again, he nodded without saying a word as he pulled the blanket up to his neck.

"You must be tired, I'm sorry. I'll let you sleep now, goodnight!" Mei Li whispered, closing her eyes as she drifted off.

***end of flashback***

Ever since that night, Luhan had been acting so differently. Normally, Mei Li would have to scold him for trying to initiate skinship, risking getting caught. But now, she didn't have to worry about that at all.

Now that she thought about it, he hadn’t even held her hand since then. 

I hope oppa will be back to normal tomorrow. That was the last thought she had before she drifted to sleep, but it was the same wish she made every night, only to wake up to the same thing.

The next morning, someone banged on her door and shouted. "NOONA!”

Mei Li rubbed her eyes sleepily and grabbed her cell phone from the bedside table. What on earth! She quickly scrambled out of bed and went to the door.

"Noona! Finally you’re awake!" Tao exclaimed.

"I’m sorry! Did I make you guys late?" she asked.

He shook his head cutely and pouted. "No, but you missed breakfast!"

"Oh, haha then that's okay."

"But,” he pulled out something from behind him and grinned, "I saved you a muffin!"

Mei Li  laughed at his cute, caring actions and took the muffin. "Thank you, Tao.”

"If I had known earlier that you'd miss breakfast, I would've gotten more, sorry," he frowned.

"It's okay, Tao! I didn't know I'd miss breakfast, haha, it's my fault anyways," Mei Li chided.

"Stupid Luhan hyung! He should've woken you up!" Tao put on an angry expression.

Mei Li bit into the muffin and swallowed, "No, I sleep like a pig sometimes, it's not his fault either."

"Still! He was just sitting there eating breakfast! When I asked him where you were, he just said 'sleeping'. He didn't even save you anything! It's all thanks to me!" Tao ranted on about Luhan.

Mei Li finished the muffin, chuckling, "It's okay, Tao, and thanks!"

But on the inside, she was thinking something else. Why didn't he wake me up... is he truly mad at me? Did I really do something wrong? She thought back about the past events but couldn't come up with anything. Aish, I'll ask him later or something.

After a tiring day, it was already night time. Everyone gathered in Kris's room to play around since they were all bored. They sat down in a circle on the floo
