Chapter 9
After Yuri and Jessica came back from school, she saw an item sent by her father again. Sunny then play with the string that Yuri’s dad just sent her while Jessica stood beside them watching.
“Hmm…wondering what my Dad sent me all this time, and it turns out to be this string? Stop sending me this kind of stuff, man” said Yuri
“Wonder what is the purpose of this string, what?” the string was being attached to Sunny and Yuri
“Wait, the strings can’t be taken off? I can’t undo the string!” Yuri tried to pull the string but it couldn’t came off.
“My goodness Sunny…” said Jessica
“Dad, what in the world did you mail me this time”
Dear Yuri,
4,000 years of Chinese history is really deep. I have found some more amazing things, and I have sent them to you. These strings are very mysterious. They will tie together things that are fated…and never let them separate. They are called “Fate Strings.” If you ever get a lover, give them a try. I better get going. See ya!
From Dad
“I had enough of this 4,000 years of Chinese history, just don’t send me any more stuff!” shouted Yuri
“Jessica master, Sunny will be with Yuri master forever” said Sunny
“That great Sunny, we can protect Yuri master together. It helps me a lot” said Jessica
“Leave Yuri master to me” Sunny feels so happy
“What are you two talking about?” said Yuri
“If we’re tied together all the time…then even when going to the bath…in the toilet…Sunny will always be there. No! I definitely don’t want that” Yuri thought
Yuri quickly took a scissors and cut but the string still cannot be cut.
“Jessica, can you summon your creatures and try to break the strings?” said Yuri
“I will try”
Jessica summoned giant, tanker, flying dragon and Sooyoung but none of them able to break the string.
“There’s probably a way at the letter, I shall read finish the instructions” said Yuri
“Here it is! The method to unattached the strings…but the words are unreadable! How the hell I am able to read those words” Yuri was so pissed off
“Yuri master do you really hate the string” Sunny looked at her
“Did I hear something, Jessica did you say something? A hallucination perhaps” said Yuri
“Looks like Jessica was not here” Tiffany just came home and walked into the living room. She saw Yuri was sitting on the sofa looking at the strings and the letter.
“This is annoying” Yuri mumbled
Tiffany tip-toed behind and gave Yuri a surprised back hug. “Am home Yuri!”
“Tiffany, let go of me”
“Why is Sunny here” Tiffany grab Sunny and tries to pulled away but it hit back on Yuri face
“Tiffany! Quit fooling around” Yuri carries Sunny and walks away
“What is this? I see, that’s what it is” Tiffany picks up the letter and read the content and was surprised.
“Yes! With these strings, Yuri will be my forever!” Tiffany grin
“What party to celebrate the great Yuri?” she was shocked to see Yoona, Taeyeon and Ryo at her door entrance.
“I have to come to one of Tiffany’s parties, she invited us to your house” said Taeyeon
“I don’t wish to come but Tiffany will forgive me for not coming to class that I skipped” said Yoona
“Well, I can see Jessica so I come. Jessica where are you. Or did you hide her?” said Ryo
“I’m not hiding her, she just out shopping” said Yuri
Tiffany POV
Yuri knows how these strings work, so she won’t touch them normally so I invited everybody over here to have a big fun party for Yuri. Then when she let her guard down, I cut Sunny string and make her grab the end of mine! Then I will tie my own string and Yuri and I can never separate! Sunny will tell her mistress Jessica and everything will be perfect! What a brilliant idea I had. Tiffany fighting!
Tiffany show some magic tricks to being with the party.
“Incredible” everyone claps their hands
“Now Yuri, could you come here and help? Please pick one” said Tiffany showing different colors of the string
“Just grab any end of the string?” said Yuri
“Wait Yuri master!” shouted Jessica who just came home from shopping
“JESSICA, you are here” shouted Taeyeon, Yoona and Ryo
“I went a little shopping, ah everyone is here, welcome” Jessica walked towards Tiffany
“These are the strings that Yuri’s father sent to her right?” said Jessica
“Don’t touch them, I Will not have myself tied to you” Tiffany held e strings back
“So that’s how it is. I’m not going to get tied up worse than I am now!” Yuri finally knows what the real motive now
“What is it Jessica” said Tiffany
“If two people touch the string they can’t be separated”
“What? Never separate?” said Taeyeon, Yoona and Ryo
“With those strings I can be with Tiffany” Taeyeon thought and giggled
“With those strings I can be with Jessica” Ryo thought and giggled
“I don’t want to be with anyone of them” Yoona thought and sighed
“I definitely want it” shouted Taeyeon and Ryo
“I won’t give this string out to anyone” said Tiffany but it was too late as they run towards Tiffany
“What are you guys doing, this doesn’t involve me” shouted Yoona but they dragged Yoona in
“Protect Jessica master” shouted Sooyoung and tanker came in
And the outcome of the string partner is…
Tiffany with Jessica
Ryo with Tanker
Yoona with Taeyeon
“Why did it become this way?” Tiffany was disappointed
“We’re now tied together Tiffany” Jessica smiled
“I am with Taeyeon?” Yoona gave a sad look at Taeyeon
“Hey don’t look at me like that I rather partner with you than him” Taeyeon pointing at Ryo
“This is…too cruel” Ryo gave a fake laugh at the tanker. He scares the tanker can shoot him anytime.
“Well this is not my fault…” said Yuri after she saw the whole scene
“What is it with you? Put some space between us!” said Tiffany to Jessica
“Since the lunar and sun is being tied together, we must work together for the sake of Yuri master, okay?” said Jessica
“You guys cut it out, if I knew what Dad wrote in the letter about how to undo the strings…none of this will happen” Yuri sighed
“Yuri let me see the letter. Hmm…I can now separate from Jessica…” Tiffany mumbled
“You can’t read it the ink smeared with the words already”
“I can use my power on the letter and the letter can tell me directly, am I smart” said Tiffany and she cast on the letter
“Now letter, tell only me what’s in the smeared part” said Tiffany
Everyone was curious to know but before Tiffany read it, she threw the letter high up that the letter flies away from everyone and out of Yuri’s house.
“Damn it, I got to chase the letter” Yuri put Sunny on her shoulder and run out of her house
“Sunny, please look after Yuri master at all cost” Jessica said in her mind to Sunny
“Okay Jessica master”
“Alright, let’s do it” Taeyeon said to Yoona and they both run out of the house and look for the letter
“Wait up for me…” shouted Ryo who was sitting on the tanker and it moved very slowly
“Tiffany, let’s hurry up and go” said Jessica
“We’re in no hurry; the letter will come back to me”
“But…Yuri…”
“If you want, go yourself”
“That’s what I am going to do” Jessica summoned her flying dragon and pulled Tiffany along
“AAAH! WHAT ARE YOU DOING” shouted Tiffany
“Where is it…” said Yuri
Sunny then pulled Yuri hair as she saw the letter but Yuri scolded her for bothering her. Sunny was sad that Yuri did not know that she was helping her to find the letter
“Our combination is the best so far compared with the rest” said Taeyeon
“I think Ryo had the worse combination” Yoona laughed
“Where is Yuri master” Jessica was scanning around the area
“Jessica, forgive me but please at least let me sit with you” Tiffany was grabbing tightly on the dragon’s tail
“Damn it, it ran away again!” shouted Yuri
Sunny pulled Yuri’s hair again after she saw where the letter gone to
“Sunny, why did you just do that…oh there it is! Sunny are you trying to help me find the letter all along” said Yuri and Sunny nodded her head
“Sorry for scolding you earlier, great let’s do it”
“Over here…”
“Right side…”
“I definitely heard a voice” Yuri mumbled
“Whoa, the string is glittering…Sunny was it you that were telling me?”
“Yuri master…”
“So it is you, Sunny” Yuri smiled
“You can hear my voice…” Sunny was happy
“Maybe it is because the string is glittering, I can hear your voice clearly and I understand”
“But Yuri master, do you hate me? Because I am really happy to be with you forever”
“Sunny, it’s not that I hate being with you, even without the string, aren’t you always around me” smiled Yuri
“Let’s go and get the letter!” shouted Yuri
“Wait, I have a good plan, throw me at the letter and I’ll grab it”
“Don’t do it, it’s too dangerous and impossible!”
“I will be okay since you and I are tied together with the string”
“I understand, it’s up to you then, Sunny”
Yuri threw Sunny high up and kept running towards the letter even though she was so tired already. The string was extendable and Sunny finally manage to grab the letter but she was falling down
“Isn’t that Yuri master” Jessica finally spotted them and quickly approached them
“SUNNY” shouted Yuri
“AHHHH” Sunny screamed
Yuri run as fast as she could and she tripped and fell on the floor. Gladly, Sunny landed safety on Yuri’s hand
“We did it, we did it and we did it!” Yuri was so happy
“I am glad, Yuri master…Sunny” said Jessica
Surprising, the string that attached to Yuri and Sunny was undone and the string dropped.
“It’s undone, I knew Sunny has something to say but I can’t hear her voice anymore, guess is really must be the string”
Jessica then brought them back to Yuri’s house
“WHAT! The string will only undo itself when two people’s thoughts become one?” shouted Tiffany
The letter nodded
“Liar, you’re lying”
“It’s true Jessica master” said Sunny
“Yuri master, so you really able to hear Sunny voice?” said Jessica
“Yup, before the string was undone I was definitely able to talk to Sunny”
“This child’s power is telepathy, to put it another way, it is to pass along thoughts. If Sunny wants to show her thoughts, you can also hear her voice” Jessica patted on Sunny head
“Is that so…”
“It is!” Sunny nodded her head
“Stop trying to act cool, Jessica, we need to get separated too, you know” said Tiffany
“That’s really simple, our feelings just have to be the same” Jessica smiled
“I don’t get you at all! No way are my feelings going to be the same as yours” Tiffany frowned
“That’s it! Let’s think something the same so the string will be undone. I think it will be easier for us” said Taeyeon
“Alright alright, let’s try shall we” said Yoona
“Those guys are lucky; they’ve got a chance to get untied…” Ryo sighed while looking at the tanker
“Huh? Hold on a sec…” before Ryo could response, the tanker shot him
“Oh yeah, Sunny…as an apology, I’ll buy your favorite bean paste” said Yuri and Sunny couldn’t stop jumping around on Yuri’s shoulder
As the nights fall, everyone managed to undone their strings by having the same thought as one.
Next morning…
“It feels great to be back in korea! Wonder how’s my little sister is doing” said....
