Chapter 8

During evening, Jessica was taking a scroll along the street.

 

“There are so many lanterns; they must be really beautiful at night. Lanterns sparkling in the night sky…” said Jessica till Ryo interrupted her

 

“But the lanterns do not compare to your beauty” said Ryo

 

“Umm” Jessica was surprised to see him

 

“From today onwards, there will be a fall festival in the Soshi Shrine” said Ryo

 

“Are you talking about a festival?”

 

“Yes, there will be many shops there, it will be a lot of fun, and will you like to come with me?” Ryo pestered his smile on his face

 

“Please let me be your miss Jessica” said Ryo

 

“What time does it start?”

 

“What a proactive lady, I will be waiting for you at the gate at 7.00pm”

 

“7.00pm is it, I’ll go get the others!” said Jessica excitedly and she run off

 

“Incredible, she’s both cute and refined, Muhahahaha” Ryo let out an evil laughter

 

7.00pm…

“It looks fun, does it” said Jessica walking with Yuri and Tiffany

 

“Yeah, and there’s lot of booth and how do you know there’s a festival tonight?”

 

“A nice person told me”

 

“Did you call me?” Ryo appear behind them

 

“What! The nice person is Ryo?” said Yuri angrily

 

“Welcome to our Soshi Shrine, I am a caretaker here. So allow me to take you around the shrine” said Ryo

 

“The pretty girl beside you can also come” pointing at Tiffany

 

“You really have good taste” Tiffany smiled

 

“But my goal is only Jessica” Ryo muttered

 

“That little girl can also come along” looking at Yuri

 

“That jerk! I am not a little girl” Yuri cursed under him

 

“You’re mistaken, Yuri is my master” said Jessica

 

“HAHAHA! You guys have a good relationship” Ryo laughed

 

“Is this some penalty game?”

 

“No it isn’t” Jessica replied

 

“Well anyway let’s go play some games” Ryo held Jessica hand and lead the way

 

“How cute! Look at those little fish” Jessica was excited

 

“Come, let me teach you or let me catch it for you” said Ryo

 

“Yuri master, let’s do it together” said Jessica

 

“I’ll decline” annoyed by the guy beside her

 

“I want to play too” Tiffany shouted

 

“Yuri do your best okay” said Tiffany

 

Ryo accidentally push Yuri and Yuri could not catch the fish

 

“Opps! I am so sorry to knock you”

 

“And you’re an obstruction, you know?” Ryo whisper to Yuri ear

 

“Damn, I knew Ryo did it on purpose”

 

Ryo quickly catch the fishes and give it to Jessica

 

“Here you go, Jessica” said Ryo

 

“Thank you very much, they’re so cute!” Jessica looked at fishes

 

Tiffany was jealous that Jessica got fishes and she does not have and she pestered Yuri to get one for her.

 

“Okay okay I will catch for you” said Yuri

 

Ryo saw Yuri was busy helping Tiffany to catch fish and he quickly drag Jessica away from them

 

“Jessica, let me bring you to somewhere nice” said Ryo

 

“Should we wait for Yuri master?”

 

“You don’t want to interfere with them having fun, do you?”

 

“But…”

 

“Now, let’s go Jessica” Ryo dragged her away from them

 

“Where is Jessica?” said Yuri

 

“No idea, didn’t she go somewhere with that guy earlier?” said Tiffany trying to shoot the doll with the toy gun

 

“I missed again, can I play one more time please Yuri”

 

“I used $50 already” Yuri sighed

 

“Please!” Tiffany pout

 

“Okay okay stop whining”

 

“Hey Yuri” Yoona shouted

 

Yoona?

 

“What are you doing? Jessica and Ryo just walked off” said Yoona

 

“This guy is infamous in this neighborhood for being a skirt-chaser you know” Yoona lied

 

“Skirt-chaser?” Yuri was confused

 

“Basically, he’ll chase after anyone wearing a skirt and break every girls heart, he’s a cheater and keep seducing more and more girls” Yoona grinned

 

“Yes! There’s only the two of us underneath the stars” Ryo turn around & throw his fist in the air

 

“Umm, Jessica I want to be one of the stars that you see in the sky, in that way, I can be with you forever”

 

“Jessica, are you listening?” Ryo turned back and looked at Jessica but she was not listening to him

 

“Thank you for telling me of such a beautiful place” Jessica turned and looked at him

 

“You’re welcome, if I can help you then I’m willing to do anything for you” Ryo slowly approach Jessica

 

“Jessica, I’ll be straight forward to tell you, I would like to go out with you” said Ryo

 

“But, how and here?”

 

“Yes, here…directly, don’t be shy about it”

 

“Okay, I’ll go with it” said Jessica

 

Jessica then approached Ryo and pushed him away

 

“Why did you pushed me away” said Ryo

 

“What do you mean by pushing you away? Are you alright” Jessica replied

 

“HEY JESSICA” shouted Yuri

 

“Damn it, he came at just the wrong time” Ryo muttered

 

“You damn playboy, give up on Jessica RIGHT NOW” Yuri shouted angrily

 

“Playboy…you sure say anything huh”

 

“If you dare try to do anything to Jessica, I won’t forgive you” said Yuri

 

“Oh, interesting…so what you going to do”

 

“Aren’t you embarrassed to keep playing around with girls?”

 

“Love is bound you know”

 

“Aish, I don’t want to be with such a person, Jessica let’s go home” said Yuri

 

“Yuri, I will not give up” Ryo shouted

 

“Yoona, please bring Jessica and Tiffany home I will be back later, I have some words to say to this guy” said Yuri to Yoona

 

“Okay, come on girls lets go home, I treat you girls food” said Yoona and three of them walked away

 

“Give up on Jessica” Yuri faced Ryo

 

“Jessica has this mysterious charm about her and I want to get her even more”

 

“What”

 

“Could you tell me something, what relationship between you and Jessica, is Jessica your lover, relative or friend?”

 

“Umm…no”

 

“You can’t even say what your relationship is with her therefore you have no right to stop me”

 

“Shut up! No means no”

 

“Let’s have a competition, the winner will get to date with Jessica” Ryo smirked

 

“OKAY, I am in”

 

“Great, we will go with tennis”

 

, why must be tennis, I hate tennis. Yuri was worried

 

“If you have no confidence, just say so, you can’t beat me” said Ryo

 

Next morning…

Yuri and Ryo was standing on the tennis court getting ready to battle while Yoona will be the judge and Jessica and Tiffany was standing beside Yoona watching the match

 

“Are you sure Yuri master will be fine” said Jessica

 

Ryo threw a ball towards Yuri and she misses

 

“Yuri! Don’t tell me this is your first time playing tennis” said Yoona

 

“Yes it is…am doomed” Yuri looked on the ground

 

 “I wonder why Yuri master want to compete with Ryo” said Jessica

 

“It’s for the right to date you, Jessica” said Yoona

 

“To date me?” Jessica was confused

 

“Nah, it’s to promote our mutual friendship right Ryo” Yuri was embarrassed and she kept hitting Ryo back

 

“It’s hurt, Yuri…” said Ryo

 

“That’s great” Jessica smiled

 

“Umm, something fishy going around here” Tiffany find it weird just by looking at them

 

The competition started and Ryo won first match with the score of 1-0.

 

“Damn! What am I going to do, I don’t want this guy to date with Jessica” Yuri mumbled

 

Tiffany could not stand watching Yuri losing and she cast her power on the racket Yuri was using

 

“I am fine with it if Tiffany help you cause you will not beat me anyway” said Ryo

 

The game starts again and Yuri still misses the ball because the racket was faster and she could not keep the pace

 

“Eek, I guess the racket couldn’t help Yuri too” said Tiffany

 

Score 2-0

“Yuri! If you lost this match, you are game over” said Yoona

 

“It seems like Yuri master isn’t having fun…” said Jessica

 

“Umm…Jessica there’s a rule in tennis that the loser must be thrown off a high cliff, do you wish to see her die?” Yoona whisper to Jessica and she laugh

 

“WHAT, that can’t be…” Jessica was shocked and she quickly summon Sooyoung

 

Sooyoung was also like Sunny; instead Sooyoung was a guy with good sense of ability techniques and can directly speak

 

“Yuri master, take this child with you, he can help you with tennis” said Jessica

 

“Hey Yuri, nice to meet you, just follow my instruction and you will be fine” said Sooyoung

 

The game begins again…

 

“Take two steps on your right and hit” said Sooyoung

 

“Are you sure” Yuri just continue to swing her racket and it really hit the ball that Ryo was stunned as he misses it.

 

“Great, finally I have some good quality game now” said Ryo

 

Score 2-2

“Last ball and the game will be over, and guess I am going to use my own strength to fight with him” said Yuri

 

“Jessica, take Sooyoung away, if you always protect me, wouldn’t that be little me?” said Yuri

 

“Go Yuri master” Jessica shouted happily

 

“You sure have some guts Yuri, without Sooyoung do you expect to win me?” said Ryo

 

“This time, it’s my turn to protect Jessica” said Yuri

 

“Are you sure”

 

Ryo then serve the last ball

 

“Yes, because Jessica is my…SPIRIT” shouted Yuri will strong aura around her

 

And the ball hit on the ground and the game ends. Yuri missed the ball when she swings her racket.

 

“Ha-haha-hahaha…” Yuri fake cries

 

“Yuri master, I will accompany you down the high cliff” said Jessica

 

“A high cliff?” Yuri puzzled

 

“If you lost the tennis match, there’s no way around it!”

 

“YOONA! Was it you again” shouted Yuri

 

In the movie theatre

“Here’s the popcorn” Jessica handed it to Ryo

 

“Thank you very much, and the way you say popcorn is so cute” said Ryo

 

Yuri then took the popcorn from Jessica and sit between Jessica and Ryo

 

“What about the promise” said Ryo

 

“Well, in that way, we can have date with the three of us” Yuri happily smiled

 

When they reached, they saw Ryo selling food

 

“Oh Yuri what a coincidence to see you here” said Ryo

 

“What do you mean coincidence, why are you doing here” Yuri shouted

 

“Jessica, from now on, I will be in your care” Ryo held Jessica’s hand

 

“What are you doing playboy” Yuri remove Ryo hands from Jessica

 

“Stop touching my hand Yuri” said Ryo

 

“Are you two made up, I am happy” said Jessica
