Zia -For A Year

From start to finish, the song escalated and it brought great emotion. It was pleasing to hear a soft sad ballad after so long.  This song can capture the hearts of many. What brought this song altogether, was of course the music video. The scenes in the video fit perfectly as the of the song was reached.This is actually the first song from this artist that I've ever heard, and it has impressed me. Ballads are never really my thing, but this song's message can relate to many and as I analyze the lyrics, it has such a deep meaning!

Music Video:  11/10

As the lyrics are being sung, the motions in the music video seemed to connect everything together. It brought greater emotion and it made me deliberately cry throughout the whole thing. Each scene, just like the song, escalated up to the point of the . The actors and actress' facial expressions and actions, also played a big part as it showed the whole story. There were no questions made as I watched this video and I was overflowing with emotion.

Song: 10/10

A lovely ballad. As I said before, the lyrics can relate to many it and touched me deeply. In fact, I can relate to this song and it shows the great emotions of an individual as they step forward into the world with their significant other, as a year passes, that individual still thinks of that significant person, but if they ever met, the individual wouldn't know what to say. Zia's vocals just wrapped it all up for me. The sadness in her voice and the different techniques she used were extravagant and it made the song sound even more sad!

 

Overall: 11/10

Overall, everything was brought up, in the best way it could have been. I took a long time to do this review, not because I was being imprudent, but because it touched me to the deepest point where I actually started to cry. As I think of how many people can relate to this song, it seems to surpass my brain as it does eventually happen to everyone. This was a great song!

Chapter 13: This song is the one that made M.I.B. one of my favorite bands. It fits perfectly in my opinion, except for the autotune, though that's simply because I can't stand autotune at all. The rapping was freaking hot and awesome as well *_* And I'm just gonna go ahead and request again XD Could you review Henry's new song Trap? Thanks in advance~

Chapter 12: Personally, I didn't really like the song that much. It didn't really catch my attention, and to be honest, I was a bit bored at some points in time. I didn't really like the music video because, like you said, it's really normal and my mind got confused sometimes with the color changes XD And to be totally honest, I thought that the set with the arch was a scene from MYNAME's message at first, but then I pointed out a few differences. Overall, it's not really one of my favorites, but I still like it~ And can I send in a request for you to review M.I.B's Nod Along? Thanks in advance if you review it~ (That took a long time to type out on an iPod XD)

Chapter 9: I have to agree with you about the pants, I wanted to just throw them into a fire. I also didn't like the music video much, the colors didn't flow with me at all except for the beginning set.

Chapter 7: OMG! I just watch this movie when I saw your review. I cried so much T_T My mom keeps making fun of me because I hardly cry so, I was kind of embarrassed. It was so good, and motivational. A very touching movie. Thanks for the review.
