Henry Lau -  Trap (ft. Taemin & Kyuhyun)

The young member of Super Junior-M has arrived everyone! Although a soft, ballad seems more suitable for the young and talented Henry, he brought to the table, a new side of himself and showed us his talents. His melodic tone of voice with this hardcore song, definitely won me over. The music video was fantastic, no complains whatsoever. Kyuhyun and Taemin's voice tied everything together, once and for all. Briliance was shining through this track and it's very much enjoyable! Everything about this song was perfect (in my eyes)

 

 

R A T I N G S :

Choreography: 8/10

Choreography for Trap was not as difficult as many SM songs. Although Henry as great dance moves with his violin, he showed us a great and powerful dance for his debut. It was a set back from his usual choreography with Super Junior-M, but it was definitely something he was capable of doing and he seemed very comfortable with the moves. It was something less assertive for a great debut!

Music Video:  5/10

Typical SM videos include flashy backgrounds and sets, ads and random parts. Although it did continue going back and forth from scene to scene and so on, it wasn't something so unique and new. I must say, I did expext way more for the video and it hasn't fully met my expectations!

Song: 12/10

Ohohoho; this is what I'm talking about! A new side of Henry, it made him very appealing in many people's eyes and with the assistance of Taemin and Kyuhyun, it completely blew me away. Kyuhyun's falsetto, Taemin's assertiveness in his voice and Henry's emotion went all very well!If anything, I think those three young men could make an awesome project group! It was beyond my expectations~

Overall: 9/10

Overall, despite not enjoying the music video as much as I thought I would, I thought everything was really nice! It brought out a new side of Henry that I bet most fans would've never thought of seeing! A manly Henry for the fans, is beyond what they think of him!

Chapter 13: This song is the one that made M.I.B. one of my favorite bands. It fits perfectly in my opinion, except for the autotune, though that's simply because I can't stand autotune at all. The rapping was freaking hot and awesome as well *_* And I'm just gonna go ahead and request again XD Could you review Henry's new song Trap? Thanks in advance~

Chapter 12: Personally, I didn't really like the song that much. It didn't really catch my attention, and to be honest, I was a bit bored at some points in time. I didn't really like the music video because, like you said, it's really normal and my mind got confused sometimes with the color changes XD And to be totally honest, I thought that the set with the arch was a scene from MYNAME's message at first, but then I pointed out a few differences. Overall, it's not really one of my favorites, but I still like it~ And can I send in a request for you to review M.I.B's Nod Along? Thanks in advance if you review it~ (That took a long time to type out on an iPod XD)

Chapter 10: I've been wanting to watch this one for a while but I have other dramas to finish watching before I start XD Now that you've commented on it, I think I'm gonna start watching it tomorrow~

Chapter 9: I have to agree with you about the pants, I wanted to just throw them into a fire. I also didn't like the music video much, the colors didn't flow with me at all except for the beginning set.

Chapter 9: Dream Girl seem nice to me :D well maybe because I saw Minho a bit longer. His rap part is longer than b4. But yea, like u said, the clothing...ehemmm~ hahaha owell, it's a great song :3 Oh yea! Taemin, he look matured!^^

Chapter 7: OMG! I just watch this movie when I saw your review. I cried so much T_T My mom keeps making fun of me because I hardly cry so, I was kind of embarrassed. It was so good, and motivational. A very touching movie. Thanks for the review.
