Chapter 9: Courtship 101

Soo Ae’s POV:

“So how’s it going with Onew?” Cha asks smiling. “How’s what going?” I ask confused. “You know…Have Onew and you done anything? Like gone on dates hung out, talked?” says Dae. *Your right…I haven’t seen him in awhile…* “Nope, we haven’t seen each other since he had dinner at our hideout.” I say. “Well you should ask him out!” Hana says. *Ask him out?!* “No way!” I say. *I can’t ask him out…* “You scared?” asks Dae grinning. “Course not!” I yell at her. “Sure, sure.” Says Jiyoung. “Your mouth says no, but your eyes say yes!” “My eyes say NOTHING!” I say defensively. Cha just chuckles. “How about this we all hang out!” “What?” I ask confused. “Well Onew and you, will go off and then Taemin, Jonghyun, Minho, Key, Jiyoung, Dae, Hana, and some others…” she mumbles the last part.  “and I will go off in another place and leave you two alone!” Cha says excited at the idea. “That’s a brilliant plan Cha!” says Jiyoung happily. “But guys! I don’t even know if I like Onew!” I say.  They all look  at me dumbfounded. “Oh we know.” They all say together. “But what if he doesn’t like me back?” I ask worried. They just laugh. “Onew doesn’t like you back? We—“ Hana starts to say but Jiyoung covers . “Shh let her find out on her own!” she whispers. “Find what out on my own!?” I ask. “Oh nothing…” says Jiyoung smiling, while the rest of them giggle. “Yah! I am the leader! Tell me!” I say running after them as the run off.

Onew’s POV:

“Ok let the lessons begin!” says Jonghyun and Key. “The first step of courting a girl are easy!” says Jonghyun. “You have to get her lots of gifts!” says Key. “Like clothes, candy, jewelry, and stuffed animals!” he adds. Onew nods his head and starts writing everything down. “Then you have to flatter her!” says Jonghyun. He goes towards Key and holds his hand. “Oh Key you have such pretty eyes.” Key pretends to blush and giggles. “Why thank you Jonghyun-oppa!” Key says happily. “Ohhhh!
