• JIYEON'S POV • 

" Umma, I'm home! " I said while pushing open the door of our old and traditional house while slipping off my sneakers.

No answer.

" Umma! I'm home from school!! " I said again. I could smell something aromatic coming from the kitchen.

" Oh! Jiyeon-ah? Come to the kitchen. " 

I snickered and walked towards the kitchen. " Umma... Why're we having goggi? " 

Umma smiled. " Once a year thing, remember, Yeonnie? "

I perched my lips. " My birthday isn't until next month, umma. "

Umma shrugged. " Then we'll make it twise this year. "

I let out a heavy sigh. " Umma... You only earn 50,000 Won a month. You don't have to do this. "

" Waeyo? " Umma said while chopping some carrots.

I rolled up my sleeves and helped with the carrots. " Umma... You work nights just to earn a meesly 50,000 Won a month. You do it to feed me, your only child and to supply me with decent clothing for school. Umma, I'll start looking for work! "

Umma turned to face me. " Jiyeon-ah, there's not much work for a 19 year old. You don't even have a degree! YET! Plus, I'm almost 43, I can still manage. You're too young. "

I shook my head. " Andwae, umma! I can't make you work all the time! NO WAY NO HOW! I'll start looking for a job tomorrow. "

Umma let out a heavy sigh and nodded. " Arasso, Jiyeon-ah. But let's eat now. Okay? "

Dinner was placed on the table, Chicken with sliced carrots and some vegetable wrap. 

Me and umma talked about what was happening at school and work. 

I told her about all the boys chasing me. And it sure wasn't easy trying to brush them off.

Umma cooed at that. Haha

I even told her about the new dress I'm working on in fashion designing class, I'm making it for umma.

Umma told me her boss has decided to give her a raise for working overtime all the time. So, her monthly salary from now on is 100,000 Won. I'm still going to get a job!

We soon finished the meat and I helped umma with the dishes. Then I took a short shower and entered my room. No homework today so I'll just listen to some music.

While I was listening to ' When I Can't Sing ' by Se7en, I suddenly decided to take a look at the want ads in the Seoul Paper.

I cut out all the want ads that appealed to my interest. 

Tomorrow, I'm hitting the bakery, the bank ( Probably wont ) , the post office, the super market and the clothing store.

I'd love to work in the clothing store, their outfits are so cute and romantic. The super market should be okay I guess.

Anyways, tomorrow's a Saturday so I better get some shut eye. Gotta wake up earlier than all those teens that might want these jobs too.

Yea, I know it's kinda boring but.. WAIT! Hang in there. Maybe 2 or more chapters and Myungsoo and Jiyeon might meet?
