[The day of their graduation came. Everyone was excited to see the other classes’ performance. A lot of people came. Most of them are families of the graduating students; some are friends and students from lower years, others are alumni from the previous years and other officials of the school. There are also guess from universities invited by the principal.]

“Are you nervous?” Grace asked Pau.

“Yeah but just a little, There are so many people. I hope nothing goes wrong.” Pauleene prayed.

“What is the schedule again for today?” Grace asked.

“Um… from morning to afternoon will be the performances and by the evening the graduation ceremony will be held in the gym after the performance.”Pauleene said.

“Just hearing this makes me hungry. We don’t have any break?”Grace asked.

“Of course we have, there’s free food on the buffet tables on both sides of the gym. You can eat any time except when we are performing.” Pau explained.

“You are such a glutinous Grace.” Jake suddenly pops in.

“Don’t get on my nerves today Jake! If you don’t want me to strangle you, leave me alone.”Grace threatened him with a glare.

“Yeah ok if you can make me” Jake said with a smirk.

A vain pops in Grace’s forehead “you better be ready!” Grace chased Jake.

“Catch me if you can before the performance or else I’ll bother you for the rest of your life!” Jake announced in a loud voice while running away from Grace.

“Yeah I’ll kill you before that’s going to happen.” Grace countered Jake’s declaration of war.

“Wait you guys… they left again. They are like children, taunting the one they like the most.” Pau said while giggling.

[As time pass, each class perform one by one showing cute, romantic, comedy, and drama. Now it’s time for the class that was saved for last. They say save the best for last! Each class was given 10 minutes for preparation.]

“Is everybody here?” the teacher in charge asked.

“Sir we are missing two people here!” said the group in charge of the dance category.

“Who’s missing?” the professor asked.

“Jake and Grace!” the Group said in chorus.

“Sigh those two will never change, someone bring them here immediately. Their group is up first.” The Prof announced.

Then the whole class started to hear loud stomping noise “Sir! We’re here already!”

Jake and Grace said breathlessly.

“You to better give a good show if not I’ll see you in my office.” Prof said

“But sir…” Grace wanted to explain.

“No excuses you guys were late, just give them a blast.” Prof winked at Grace.

[Both Grace and Jake nod at the teacher with a determined face to impress the audience. Then the whole group stands strong behind the curtains waiting for it to open and for the song to start.]

“Good luck guys” Pau whispered from the sides while the two gave her a smirk.

“Are you nervous?” Jake said teasingly.

“of course not, you want to know why?” Grace said to Jake.

“Yeah, why? No, wait I’ll guess… because you know you will commit a mistake and trip?” Jake said.

“Hell no… because I know I’m better than you.” She said with a smirk.
