Taemin sniffed as he rolled over on his bed. How long has It been since he’s gone back to school? He took a look at his phone and cringed when there were 10 missed called and 20 text messages from Key.

Key has to stop worrying?

Taemin looked over the messages and couldn’t help but smile. Key was always by his side. Always.

“It’s going to be okay baby.” Key whispered as Taemin clutched on to him like his depended on him. No, now it does. Key lets his tear fall as Taemin keeps crying on his chest. He never saw Taemin like this. He always though the younger one was incapable of crying. When he fell and hurt himself Taemin would get back up and keep playing. When his parents had to go away for some time, Taemin said his goodbye and walked away, but now as he looks at the caskets being levered down into the ground, Key heart breaks.

“They’re dead Umma, they’re not coming back. They’re not coming back…” Taemin keeps repeating. Taemin had to look away. He wants to pretend that his parents would walk up behind him and hug him and apologize for scaring him.

“Why did they have to drive in the rain? Why did they have to rush to get back home?” Why?” Taemin screamed.

Key held him tighter.

It took Taemin months to go back to his normal self; he stopped crying and replaced his frown into a smile. He remembers how Key overreacted when Taemin laughed over him freaking out about Taemin being accepted to college. Key was running around screaming out how happy he was. Taemin couldn’t help but laugh.

Of course Taemin felt better; he found his fathers diary and it brought so much memories of his time with his parents.

 When Taemin came back home from the funeral he wanted to be left alone so he went straight to his parents room. As he laid down he felt something hard against his side of his head. He sat up and grabbed the pillow something rectangular was seen. Taemin quickly zipped open the pillowcase and inside was a black book.

Taemin opened it and had to hold back his sob as he saw his father handwriting.

He immediately closed it. How could he read it? His father hid it for a reason.

Taemin pulled the book closer, hugging it, and once again cried.

He left it on his desk drawer and would always look at it before he went to sleep.

He didn’t get curious until it was once again opened. Key came over and scolded Taemin for being dirty. So Taemin was stuck cleaning for the whole day while Key cooked lunch for him. Taemin was vacuuming the floor in his room when he accidently hit the desk, knocking the diary to the floor. Sighing and complaining about Key under his breath he leaned down and picked up the book when a picture fell. His eyes widened as his eyes recognized his father right away but he noticed something else. There was a man beside him who had his arm around his fathers’ waist and placing a kiss on his cheek. Quickly he grabbed the diary and went through it.

Taemin noticed how it started cheery and happy, his father was in love but not with his mother. As he kept flipping through the pages he knew his father was crying as the words kept coming out smudged. His fathers’ words became sad, he was lonely.

A knock made Taemin lift his head from the diary.

“Taemin baby open up!” Taemin smiled as he heard Key voice.

“Maybe he’s sleeping?” Another voice said.

“It’s three in the afternoon, he shouldn’t be sleeping.” Key scolded back. “Taemin!”

“Coming!” Taemin shouted from his bedroom. He closed the diary and returned it back into his desk. He took in a deep breath. He had to go back to his senses.

“Well you look…ok” Jonghyun was the first to speak as Taemin opened the door. Key sent a glare to the shorter man.

“That’s because I am.” Taemin smiled as he motioned them to enter. The younger one walked to the living room and took a seat on the couch, Key sat next to him and Jonghyun sat on Taemin other side.

“Are you sure you’re ok?” Key asked as he caressed Taemin head.

It’s been three days since he saw Taemin and when he saw Minho entering the cafeteria holding EunSo hand, he knew Taemin wasn’t fine. Minho did have the decency to look at them and send them an apologetic smile that made Key leave the cafeteria as the couple sat down. Minho wasn’t suppose to apologize to them but to Taemin. Key gritted his teeth as he pushed opened the cafeteria door. He wanted to murder someone and that someone was Choi Minho.

“Umma?” Key turned to Taemin and met the younger ones worried eyes.

“Yeah?”

“Are you ok?”

“Me? I’m fine. But it’s you I’m worried about. You weren’t in school, you didn’t answer my calls or my text messages. I thought something happened to you.”

“I’m not weak Key-umma.” Taemin spoke sternly. How could Key think he had done something to himself. “I just needed to be alone for some time. That’s all.”

Key gasped as he heard Taemin voice. His eyes were not the hopeless one, Taemin changed. He isn’t the high school student he held close as he saw his parents being buried, he isn’t the boy who would call his name when he was scared of lighting. No, this Lee Taemin has grown. Key smiled and chuckled. Jonghyun smirked.

“I told you he’s grown Key.” Key just rolled his eyes as Jonghyun kept that smirk on his face.

“What?” Taemin asked.

“Nothing baby. So when are you going back to school, huh?”

Taemin sighs and lays his head on Keys shoulder. “Next week?”

Key grabs a hold of Taemins hands and gives it a light squeeze. “Good.”

“What about Jonghyun appa, where’s my love?” Jonghyun whines. Taemin giggles and grabs a hold of his hand too. Jonghyun gives him a smile.

Their moment is interrupted when a phone starts to ring. Taemin lifts his head and quickly stands up and runs to his room.

“Hello. Ah Onew hyung. No I’m not busy today. Okay I’ll be here.” He hangs up with smile on his face. If Minho is having fun with his fiancé then why can’t he? “Plus this will surely hurt.”

“So who’s this Onew person?” Taemin hears and turns to see Key leaning against the doorframe with an eyebrow raised.

“He’s just a friend.” Taemin replies as he throws his phone on his bed. He heads to his closet and starts rummaging through.

“Going somewhere?” Key asks. “Maybe a date?”

Taemin stops. “Yeah something like that.”

Hello guess who's back. Yes I was gone for so long Im so sorry. I know i keep apologizing haha. Anyways here is chapter 8 and you got see Taemin other side. dun dun dun. Oh and i already chose the name for Minho father and the story is going to get a little more cliche when you find out more about him but hey i know you all like that haha. 

Im in Spring Break (with no hw) so i have time to write (i kinda lost track of the story so ill need some time put everything together). The chapters might get a little shorter since I dont want to spoil everything in one chapter. mwahahaha

soo guess what BAP is doing another concert in the states and since I go to school in CT i was planning on going to the NY concert. Then Block B concert in DC was announced for June (i will be back home at this time), so i had to make a decision. I chose Block B. It was a hard decision but i had to make it. (gosh im writing so much almost done i promise.) Is anyone going to BAP Live on Earth concert? Is anyone going the Block B concert? Yes im curious. haha. ill be back soon for an update.
