You jump up and down in glee. Your mother just gave you permission to go to your father's workplace. That place is like a small town.

"Hyun, stop. You're crushing the cushion," Myungsoo tells you in a monotone voice and bites his apple.

It's a small, purple, striped cushion you brought along from the orphanage. You throw it at Myungsoo for fun. The cushion manages to hit him in the face. His half-eaten apple rolls down the carpet.

Myungsoo glares at you and hisses,"If you weren't the violent type, you'd be dead by now."

You don't have many friends but there are people who call you violent. The only violent thing you remember doing is kicking people in the shin. Though it is their fault. Who goes ahead and sleeps in others' space? Mother comes out of the kitchen and hands you a bag with two lunch boxes in it. Myungsoo is grateful and bows ninety degrees. Then, you two leave.

"Woohyun-ah," Myungsoo speaks up after a silent ride. "Something's changed in you."

I've become more handsome.

"No, way! It's just..." He thinks for a while. "You're happier."

I have a rich family composed of a generous father, a loving mother who dotes on me and a wild sister who's married. I also have the school's most popular guy as my best friend.

"It's just...your eyes! There's something different about it. It's all bright and shiny these days."

My whole being shines.

Myungsoo mumbles some word and ends the conversation. When you arrive, you text your father to pick you up. He calls to inform you he has sent one of his employees to get you.

"How on Earth did your dad build this?" Myungsoo looks around in amusement.

He hired construction workers!

"Oh! Right! Silly me!" He grins dumbly. He's being weird again.

In a far distance, a familiar being is wandering around hopelessly. His mahogany hair all tousled, beads of sweat running down his face and a murderous aura surrounding him. He is mumbling to himself and shooting lasers at nothing. Kim Sunggyu

"There! Your eyes are all shiny again!" Your best friend suddenly yells.

You ignore him and continue to enjoy your view. You secretly hope Sunggyu is the person your dad sent to receive you.
