No One’s POV

“Mind telling me what’s wrong? If you don’t want to, it's okay.” He smiled.

“I guess I was not feeling well but instead of resting at home. I.. I…” she felt another stream of hot tears streaming down her pale face.

“Hush. Hush.” JR said and hugged her gently.

“It's okay if you don’t want to continue.”

“I felt that I am delaying everyone’s process. Furthermore, I am the leader. This is..” she continued.

“I understand.” JR interrupted.

“You do?” she asked, surprised.

“I am the leader of the dance crew, NU’EST. I am a leader too. It is very stressful as a leader huh?” JR joked.

“Yeah. Totally.” she pout.

“Hey, come on! Let’s practice!”

“Let’s practice?” she questioned.

“Yup! Let me help you!” JR suggested.

“Really? Will it delay your practice?” she asked, scared that the same thing will happened again.

“No worries. I bet the guys will be delighted.” JR said, shaking his head.

HyeMi just laughed.

“But before that, let’s take a trip to the nursing room to take your medicine!” JR held his hand out.

HyeMi took his hand, ‘his hands are so warm.’ she thought.

She shakes her head to remove the thought.

“Are you alright?”

HyeMI just nodded and followed him towards the nursing room. He took her temperature.

Beep. Beep.

37.9˚C. “Omo, you’re having a fever.” He stumbled across the room to take the medicine for her.

She chuckled.

‘She chuckled.’ He thought, smiling to himself.

 Ring. Ring.

“Hello? HYEMI! WHERE ARE YOU?” YongGi’s loud scream could be heard.

“I am in the nursing room. Why?”

“Ooooh! We are just worried. We-“

“HyeMi ah. Is there anyone with you?” It was their manager.

“Yup. NU ‘EST-“ Screw it. What is his name?

“JR.” JR replied.

“NU’EST JR-shii.”

“Ah. Okay. Can you go back to the dorm with them? The girls are tired.” Manager explained.

“Sure.” She said, pouting.

“See you back at the dorm!”

“Sure!”

“Here you go!” JR passed her the pills and a cup of water.

“Thank you so much!”

“What did your manger said?” JR asked.

“Oh, she wanted me to pop by your manager car back home. But it's okay! I can-“

“Nah! Just pop by our car. Plus, it is dangerous for a girl to go back home so late by herself!” JR smiled.

“OH! What’s your name?” JR asked, putting his hand on his nape. Feeling a little embarrassed.

“HyeMi. Park HyeMi!” HyeMi smiled. “I guess, JR is not your real name right?” She continued

“Kim JongHyun is my real name.”

“JR stands for Junior Royal.” He continued.

“Ah.”

“Let’s go!”

They went to NU’EST practice room. After some introduction, HyeMi  plugged in Venus’s playlist, HyeMi started dancing. Her moves were not just powerful but smooth as well. The guys are totally impressed.

“You are great. Scratch that. It TOTALLY AWESOME!” Aron said, totally impressed.

“GUYS. Oops, sorry! Wait, your girlfriend?” NU’EST manager asked.

The guys just laughed. “Nope, friend.” JR said.

“BEST FRIEND!” Ren said, hugged HyeMi’s arms.

Their manager just laughed and nodded.

“Good news. You will be representing South Korea for the Dance World competition.”

A long silence before the boys bursted into cheers and manly hugs.

“Congrats! Wait, that means we are rivals?” HyeMi asked.

“You girls are in too?” JR asked.

“Of course! They are good, hyung!” Minhyun said.

HyeMi blushed, “Yup. We are in too.”

“There are two champions for this competition. One guy group and one girl group.” Manager explained.

‘wow.’ ‘cool.’ ‘I see’ was heard.
