It took one short text message for me to run towards the elevator, sprint to the first floor and run outside the company. “I’m here, meet me at the nearest coffee shop”

My chest was pounding hard; I don’t know if it’s because of all the running or am I just too excited to see her? I made my way to the chain of stores and restaurants that were lined up directly outside SMEnt. I went inside the fist coffee shop I saw and searched for her frantically.

“Sehun-ah” I heard it, and I’ve no doubt it was her. I turned around.

She was wearing the craziest Lady Gaga shades I’ve seen, a pair of ripped out jeans, maroon leather jacket and some odd fury boots. It was indeed her, “Minzy”, she was holding a tall cup of Starbuck’s Double Chocolate Chip and smiling at me. I walked towards her, my mouth curved into a tiny smile of happiness and longing.

Aside from her ash gray hair, nothing much had changed, she’s still short- she barely reached my shoulders- she still possessed the same deep black eyes, “Where have you been” I pinched both her cheeks. I haven’t seen her in months.

“Aww, go easy on me, I only got here this morning” she tried removing my hands and I saw her long nails- shiny and bloody red, and I know she’s really here with me, Minzy’s really here.

“Let’s hang out! God, I miss Korean food. Back in the US, all we ate were fast food take outs and Dara unnie’s herbal mints” she rolled her eyes.

“I only have time until lunch. How’s the album going?” I asked; it felt a little awkward because we’re standing in the middle of the shop- her wearing some alien outfit, and I wearing my rehearsal clothes. Some people were actually watching us but I think they don’t really mind.

“Well it was done in the US so I think it will come out great and we’re planning to release it soon” she took a sip on her overpriced coffee.

“We’re planning to release a repackaged album too. So I guess we’ll be competing on Hanteo charts and album sales?” I snickered.

“Are you threatening me?” her eyes glinted with pure amusement.

“Are you threatened?” I stuck my tongue out at her.

“Stupid” she shoved my arm.
