Im Yoona's known as one of the 'boyish' girls in her group of friends, classmates, everywhere. They just graduated from middle school and she's sad to know(even she's a little tomboy) that her biggest crush, Nichkhun, is leaving the school. As she enters high school, she meets a transferee named Kim Kibum, and he's in the same class with her. Considered arrogant, Yoona had a hard time making friends with him. His attitude makes her wanna hate him, but she can't deny the fact that she has a little 'girl crush' on Kibum. They finished their first year high school and they're now in their sophomore year. One day, a situation makes Kibum and Yoona realize they should not be hating each other. Like others who started chatting or texting each other, not noticing they're having feelings for one another. But what will happen if such normal obstacles meet them? Will they endure it even it'll take them years to fix?

Prologue:

…”Uhh, hey…” Is the only thing he can say right now. Nothing filled his mind… Nothing at all. Only the person he left for almost 7 years. 7 years of forgetting… Of enduring the pain he felt. He said it’s done. He said he’s tired of everything. He is the one who left……… But why is he happy to see her right now? Is he longing for her again? Thinking she might feel the same way right now? If only he wasn't afraid.

“Uhh, hey…” She hears from her behind. Her body stiffens. She feels numbness overlay her body, causing her not to turn around. She knows this voice. She’s been waiting to hear this sweet voice for 7 years. Yeah, almost 7 years of feeling rejected, of trying to move on… Of trying to forget the pain he gave. She’s nearly healed. No. Her heart’s nearly healed. And after the pain is quite fading, hello pain… Like a blink of an eye… She feels it again.

“Well… it’s good to see you again. How are you do-“ Before he can finish his words, someone approaches her.
 

“Yah Im Choding ah~ you left your stuffs! How could you endure seeing your Khunie with loads of bag?” Nichkhun pouts. “And oh…” After noticing the guy behind Yoona, he smiles and greets the guy. “Hi Kibum, so… How’s the Tokyo life?” Nichkhun asks. Kibum answers with a smirk. “It’s good. But I can’t find the feeling of Seoul there. So, yeah guess I’ll be staying here… For good.”

The girl behind the two guys is dumbfounded... Not knowing what to say after the meeting. “Yoona~… Yah!” Nichkhun disturbs the silent Yoona. “Oh, sorry ‘bout that. What is it again?” Yoona asks. “Kibum said he’ll be staying here in Korea for good. Hmm yeah, I know how it feels leaving this place. Especially when you’re alone and you don’t have anything to see but people who are always in a rush. I agree that it’s better here in Korea. And since you’re an artist, I suggest you stay here because this place is full of beautiful sceneries.” Nichkhun explains. “You’re right. Hmm… So, I noticed that Khun’s still close to you even if he left the school for like 10 years ago eh? That’s true friends, I guess.” Without paying much attention to what Nichkhun said, Kibum shifts his attention to Yoona. He asks Yoona calmly, but inside, he's more than curious. He feels that she and Nichkhun are more than friends now. Well it’s not bad to ask.. He just wanna hear a confirmation.

“It’s very unusual to see an awkward couple anyway.” Nichkhun answers with a corny joke. “Right baby? Oh hey~” He softly shrugs Yoona. “Speaking! You’re not telling Kibum yet huh?” Nichkhun childishly whines. “Oh… Yeah.” Yoona answers.

“Kibum, uhm, he’s not just a close friend…” Yoona says to Kibum. He knew this time will come. And he feels really nervous.

“Nichkhun’s……… My boyfriend.”
