Junho thinks it's the worst thing anyone could hear.

"Yeah," she answers, not a hint of softness in her voice. "I was in love with you."

Her voice bites him hard not unlike the snow that nips at his face. Minji's voice was cold, and limpid and as she walks away Junho is left staring at the bitter smile she leaves him with.

Was. It was the past tense that hurt more than any rejection. She had loved him, but not anymore, and Junho knows it's all his fault.
