The moment the clock stopped, his heart stopped beating as well. This was not his stage, and this was not hi spotlight, but Taecyeon squared his shoulders and set his jaw. What had to be done, had to be done, and the responsibility was laid on his (he thinks incapable) shoulders. The weight was so hard to bear that thinking about it sent him to his knees . It was pathetic, and he wanted to rip his damaged heart out, but what needed to be done, needed to be done. There was no other solution but to move on, but every time he would think about it, his heart just goes numb, cold, heavy with the weight of the world. He knew, he understood everything, in his head it all fell into place, but knowing and understanding did nothing to ease the pain. It coiled deep within him, the pain violently twisting and pulling until he couldn't even climb out of bed. His eyes were dark and dull, the old spark could never be relit.

He waits, even though he knows there is nothing for him to wait for.
