“Jinyoung Oppa!” Da-oh was shocked seeing him there. He came to give her a hug.

“I miss you. How are you?” He asked.

“I miss you too. I’m definitely better now that you’re here.” She gleamed.

“Jinyoung is going to be your bodyguard from now on.” Her dad informed. “His Dad was my former bodyguard and he is a loyal person to our family so Jinyoung is the perfect bodyguard for you.”

“Jinyoung Oppa?!” I pointed to him. “Are you serious Dad?” Her dad’s smiling face faded seeing that side of her out.

“What are you trying to imply?” Jinyoung asked squinting at her.

“It’s not that I don’t trust you, but I don’t know if—never mind. You’ll be perfect!” She grinned and everybody laughed.
I just don’t know if the fan girls will be able to take their eyes away from you.

“You know Oppa, it’s kind of awkward having you walk alongside with me everywhere…” Da-oh giggled eyeing him.

“But this is my job. I supposed to do this.” He laughed. “You don’t want me here?”

“No, it’s just that I’ve always been alone at work and now you’re with me it’s like in a movie.” She laughed. He watched her and chuckled at her statement.

“We’ll have to play a good movie then.” He smiled walking slightly behind her.

“Hey, welcome back!”  A staff greeted Da-oh as she walked past him towards her office.

“Thank you. It’s good to be back.” She smiled heading into her office. She looked around as Jinyoung was standing at the door.

“Oppa! What are you doing?”

“I’m guarding the door so that I can protect you if anyone tries to come in.” He was confused by her.

“Aish, you’re driving me crazy!” She laughed. “I really need to get used to this don’t I?” She made a bubble face.

“Yes. Since I’ll be like this until you are safe.” He replied.

“Jeez, you’re no fun.” I scoffed. “Why can’t you just come help me with my paper work?” She asked pointing to her pile of papers.

“Ooo, no way. I’m a bodyguard, so I’m only guarding you.” He made a robot voice teasing her.

“Come on Jinyoung Oppa. Forget the bodyguard thing; just help me as a friend?” She tugged onto his arm.

“This girl! No! Do your own work.” He said lifting his chin and stood still like a bodyguard. Da-oh looked at him and stepped on his left foot.

“Ouch! You!! You shouldn’t be doing this to me! You’re hurting your bodyguard, how am I going to protect you if something happens right now?”
 

Da-oh laughed and said, “Nothing is going to happen if it’s in here. If I go outside, then I might need you to protect me, but here, I’m perfectly protected. So just help me with my paper work!” She pouted.

“Aish, do I have to?” He scratched his neck.

“Yes, please best friend?” She begged him gluing her palms together.

“Fine.” He rolled his eyes.

“Yey! Thank you Oppa!” She was so happy and started working on her stack of papers.
 

Although Da-oh still misses Daehyun even after several months, she was able to slowly try to let him go.
 

“So, how do you patch up a broken heart?” Da-oh asked Jinyoung.

“I have no say in this. I don’t know.” Jinyoung replied.

“Ah, fine. By the way bodyguard, Oppa let’s go get some coffee, I need them to keep me up.” Da-oh asked Jinyoung.

“But you don’t want to stay up too late, it’s already 9 PM.”

“I need to! I have to get all my work done before the deadline. I was slacking off for too long.” She frowned.

“Alright, just for tonight. I’ll help you with them too.” He said as they walked out the door.

“It’s kind of chilly out here. I didn’t think it’ll be this cold.” Da-oh said rubbing her arms when they got half way to the café.

“Here take my jacket.” Jinyoung handed her his jacket.

“But you’ll be cold Oppa.” She looked to see that he only had on a V-neck T-shirt.

“It’s cool, I can handle this weather.” He grinned putting it on her. They walked side-by-side. Da-oh then looked to see Jinyoung’s face in the dim street. She quickly grabbed his arm and held it tight. He was surprised and looked down at her. “I hope this will make you warm.” She said staring at him. He smiled and they walked down the street to the café shop.
