The Argument
What I Thought Would Never HappenSung Gyu entered the room after Ari and turned her around to face him. He asked, "What's wrong? What happened?"
Ari just ignored him and went to lay down on her bed. She looked at Sung Gyu when he sat on the edge of her bed.
"Don't think I am stupid for telling you this. I am just upset because after the talk I had with Doo Joon oppa, I realized that I have never fallen in love. He looked at me like I was crazy. Is it normal to already have fallen in love before?" asked Ari sadly.
"Ari-ah, a lot of people think they have fallen in love. But there are people that still haven't. Like you.... and me. I haven't fallen in love before either, so don't be depressed about something like this." answered Sung Gyu reassuringly.
"Thank you for everything you have done for me oppa, even though we haven't known each other for very long." Ari suddenly hugged Sung Gyu. His eyes widened as he hugged her back. What is this feeling?
After their conversation, Sung Gyu left the room and Ari went to sleep. The next morning Ari got up and made herself some breakfast. Her shift at work didn't start until 4:00 so she decided to watch TV for a little while. Her phone started ringing so she picked it up without looking at the caller ID.
"Oppa what do you need?" asked Ari assuming it was Sung Gyu.
"Oppa? Are you still playing around with boys hearts Song Ari?" said the caller.
Ari gasped. She couldn't believe her mother called her, "What do you want? Didn't I make it clear that I am not going to do what you and dad tell me to do?"
"You will have to come back eventually. My men saw you at a club the other night with some boy. He took you to a restaurant which I am guessing has an apartment above it, and he didn't even leave until yesterday. Is he your new toy?"
"What is it to you? No he is not my toy. He is actually my friend." replied Ari coldly.
"Oh please. You never have friends. Especially friends that are guys. You always them when you get the chance too."
"Don't be a , and don't let your men get to Sung Gyu. He has nothing to do with us. Okay?"
"You actually have feelings? Maybe you are changing. Goodbye dear." Ari's mother spat the last word out with venom.
Ari threw her phone on the ground before hugging her knees and letting the tears in her eyes escape.
