A Plan in the Works
In the Club
"Come to think of it, it's not such a bad idea." Minji said as she put down her cup of cappuccino on the table.
Chaerin nodded in agreement to what she said.
She turned to look at Bom and saw her glaring at Minji.
"I know she's not herself right now," Bom said with her mother-like tone of voice.
"But the whole idea is insane!" She exclaimed as she crossed her arms.
Chaerin and Minji rolled their eyes.
Bom is the mother-like figure of the group.
She likes to keep things nice and simple.
The two girls already knew that Bom was against the plan from the very moment she heard it.
At around 4:00PM, Jiyong and the three girls left Dara's place.
They decided to discuss the plan at a nearby cafe.
When Dara asked them for help to fulfill a plan, without hesitation, they all agreed.
In Bom's case, she has no choice but to agree since it's their friend's request.
"I can't believe she even thought about that!" Bom continued talking irritably.
She gulped down her orange juice.
"Aah, jin cha!" She said shaking her head.
The girls just listened to her continuous ranting.
Seeing Bom's aggravated state, Minji can't help but snicker.
She flashed her a sharp look.
Chaerin glanced at Jiyong who's sitting quietly beside her.
She noticed that he wasn't talking too much since they left Dara's place.
He was just staring down at his coffee.
"Oppa," She called his attention.
He didn't respond, still in deep thoughts.
"Oppa!" She called again waving her hand in front of his face.
He was startled.
"Oh, ne?" He asked, looking at her.
She frowned.
"Are you feeling well, oppa?" She asked putting her hand on his forehead.
"I'm fine." He said with a warm smile.
"So have you girls figured out what to do first?" He asked looking at them.
"I'm thinking we should call some people first to ask for information." Chaerin suggested.
"From there, we'll know what to do next." She said looking at her friends.
Jiyong nodded.
"Sounds good to me." Minji agreed.
Bom just slouched in her chair.
"Okay then, let's start." Chaerin said.
She searched for her cellphone inside her purse while Jiyong peeked at his watch.
"Uhmm girls, I have to go. I need to meet someone now." He announced.
The girls looked at him surprised.
"Business...” He continued.
"Don't worry I'll help with the plan after this. I promise." He gave Chaerin a pleading look.
"Alright oppa, we'll just call you if we already have something." She said.
"Okay." Jiyong said leaning to give her a kiss on the cheek.
He stood up and bid goodbye to the girls and left.
"Are you ready girls?" Chaerin said winking at the two.
"Ready!" Minji answered, waving her cellphone excitedly.
Bom let out a big sigh.
"Ready." She said flatly.
"Alright, let's do this!" Chaerin said.
**********
Jiyong glanced at his watch and it's already 5:30PM.
He sipped his beer and looked around.
He was sitting on a stool in the bar section of an empty club.
A man suddenly went standing beside him.
"One beer please." He said to the bartender.
"Ye, sajangnim." The bartender replied with a bow.
"What took you so long?" Jiyong asked without looking at him.
The person chuckled.
"I have work too, you know." He answered sipping his beer.
He turned around to face the empty dance floor.
Jiyong turned to his side.
"It's you, isn't it?" He asked, examining him.
The latter, still not looking at Jiyong, just smirked.
"You're the one who sent those pictures and video, am I right?" Jiyong asked again.
He turned his head to face him. "Do you have to ask? You know it already."
Jiyong just stared at him, shaking his head.
'Ring... ring....’ Jiyong's phone rang.
"Oppa!" Chaerin on the other line spoke.
"We have some information now."
"Really?" He replied.
"We think tonight is the best night but there's still one problem left." She said.
Upon hearing what it was, Jiyong stared at the man standing beside him.
A hint of smile showed on his face.
"Chaerin-ah!" He said. "Don't worry, leave it to me."
