12/08/14 | Thank you to everyone who has read this or is doing so now. It's surreal when you know that just the first chapter--the beginning of a story I'm proud of--is inspired by a scene in the beginning of the film Lucky Number Slevin where where Lucy Lui arrives to ask to borrow some sugar. It's thanks to everyone's support I was able to add twelve more chapters, 'cause I'm sure you know already this was originally meant to be only two chapters. I remember working on it at my nan's because I couldn't access the computer at home for a while. And...just thinking to back then, about how this came to be and going through it now for a read and a bit of sprucing up, it's really precious to me. More so now, tbh. So really, a big thank you to everyone! And if you're just about to read this for the first time then I hope it puts in you good feelings <3
