It's been one and half a year since I came to Canada and met my best friend, Hwasa. We are now grade 8 since school just started this September. 

To say I'm scared is an understatement, I'm so nervous that I could combust standing in front of their house. I was invited to her younger sister's birthday party a week ago and now is the 12th, meaning d-day that I will actually go inside and interact with her family. I bought her sister a set of jeans and shirt, her mother a bouquet and got some fine wine for her dad. You might think it's too much for a 13 year old to get but I do have a lot of money and I want to leave a good impression om her family. 

I used the doorbell but after waiting 2 minutes no one came so I figured it doesn't work, and just knocked. A middle age man came to open the door and I was immediately intimidated. He did not have a beard or any tattoo of some sort but I could smell from his pheromones that if I mess with any of his daughters I would be a dead meat. It weired me out that I could smell his aura/pheromones since I have not presented but I dismissed it thinking he must be a really strong alpha. I went inside and immediately brighten when I saw Hwasa and our other best friend Wheein, a newly presented alpha whom we met last year in grade 7. How we became friends is another short story.
