Nicky lay sprawled on her living room couch, her eyes locked onto the glowing screen of her smartphone. Her fingers danced across the touchscreen, swiping up, down, and sideways as she scrolled through TikTok. It was a moment of peace, and she couldn't help but lose herself in the never-ending stream of entertaining videos.

The room was bathed in the soft, gentle glow of the evening sun that filtered through the curtains. Nicky's platinum-blonde hair spilled over the armrest as she leaned comfortably into the cushions. Her face bore a contented smile as her thumb continued its relentless descent, feeding her desire for a short entertainment.

What held Nicky's attention, however, was not just any TikTok content. She was fixated on the videos of her girlfriend, Mina. Every click and swipe led her to another snippet of Mina's life – her dazzling stage performances, adorable behind-the-scenes moments, and even some intimate glimpses into her life.

 

Unbeknownst to Nicky, several sulky expressions were slowly forming outside her front door. Mina, dressed in casual attire and accompanied by her Twice members, Sana and Momo, had arrived at Nicky's place after a long day of work. They had been looking forward to spending some quality time with her, but as they stood outside, ringing the doorbell multiple times, they were met with silence.

Mina, not one to be deterred easily, took a deep breath and sighed. "She must be busy with something. Let's give her a few more minutes."

Sana raised an eyebrow. "You know how excited she usually is to see us. This is unusual."

Inside, Nicky was oblivious to the commotion outside her door. Her fascination with Mina's videos was all-consuming, and she had temporarily forgotten about the outside world.

Determined to get to the bottom of Nicky's unusual behaviour, she decided to take matters into her own hands. Remembering the spare key Nicky had entrusted her with, she retrieved it from her bag and approached the front door.

With gentle precision, Mina inserted the key into the lock, and the door yielded to her touch. She pushed it open, her earlier irritation replaced by a deep concern for the woman she loved.

As she entered the living room, Mina saw the scene that had held Nicky's attention hostage. Oblivious to her surroundings, Nicky lay on the couch, fully engrossed in TikTok, a contented smile on her lips.

Mina's irritation flared once more at the sight of her girlfriend's lack of attention. She cleared loudly. The sudden and unexpected loud voice filled the living room, startling Nicky from her TikTok reverie. Her phone slipped from her hand, landing on the couch with a thud, and she jumped in her seat.

"Wha—what?!" Nicky stammered, her heart racing as she looked around, bewildered.

Sana and Momo burst into laughter as they opened the front door and entered the living room. "Gotcha!" Mina said, wearing a triumphant grin.

Nicky's eyes widened as she realized who was standing in her living room. "Mina! Sana! Momo! What are you doing here?"

Mina walked over to Nicky, still chuckling. "We came to visit you, but you seemed a bit too preoccupied with TikTok."

Nicky's cheeks flushed with embarrassment as she quickly gathered her wits. She glanced at her phone, then back at her girlfriend and her friends, who were all wearing amused expressions.

"I... I didn't hear the doorbell," Nicky admitted sheepishly, realizing how absorbed she had been in her TikTok scrolling.

With a playful smirk, Sana teased, "I guess Twice Mina is more interesting than us, huh?"

Nicky couldn't help but join in the laughter that filled the room, though her cheeks tinged with embarrassment. She stood up from the couch and walked over to give each of them a warm hug, starting with Mina.

"I can't believe you got me like that," Nicky said, playfully rolling her eyes. "I was just... you know, admiring someone through TikToks."

Sana winked teasingly. "Someone named Mina, perhaps?"

Nicky chuckled. "Guilty as charged."

Momo chimed in, "Well, it's good to know you're just as smitten as ever. We wouldn't expect anything less."

Nicky blushed and smiled, feeling grateful for the support and understanding of Mina's friends."I can't help it; she's just too alluring," she said, her voice filled with affection.

Mina's eyes sparkled with affection as she gazed at Nicky. She stepped closer to Nicky, wrapping her arms around her and planting a soft kiss on her cheek. "Now that we've got your attention, how about we all spend some quality time together?"

Nicky's embarrassment faded as she returned Mina's embrace. "That sounds like a fun idea," she said with a smile, grateful for her girlfriend and her friends' unexpected visit.

Sana chimed in with a mischievous grin, "Well, since we've successfully shaken Nicky out of her TikTok trance, how about movie night, anyone?"

Nicky's eyes lit up at the suggestion. "Movie night sounds perfect!"

Mina nodded in agreement. "Sounds great to me, too."

Momo was now all smiles. "I'll make some popcorn!" she volunteered, heading for the kitchen.

With everyone on board, they settled down in the living room. Sana took charge of finding a movie scrolling through options on the streaming service. At the same time, Nicky and Mina snuggled up on the couch, still sharing affectionate glances and light laughter.

After a brief discussion and teasing about movie preferences, they settled on a lighthearted romantic comedy they could all enjoy. Momo returned with a bowl of freshly popped popcorn, filling the room with an enticing aroma.

As the opening credits rolled on the screen, the group of friends settled in for a cozy evening together. The laughter, camaraderie, and shared snacks made the movie even more enjoyable. Nicky felt incredibly lucky to have such understanding and loving friends.
