The kings plan
The princes courtRyeowook’s voice filled the small kitchen as he sang a happy tune hitting all the high notes with the skill of a nightingale. Sungmin had sent word to the prince via Siwon about how sick he was and couldn’t cook today leaving the small boy to make the meals alone. His cheery mood increased once his friends began arriving. Donghae was jumping up and down with glee as he dragged a sleep deprived Hyukjae behind him.
“Good morning everyone,” Ryeowook smiled as everyone sat down. The low grumbled replies filled the small room.
“How can you be so joyful so early in the morning, and where’s Minnie hyung?” Hyukjae asked trying to keep his food from Donghae.
“Minnie hyung is sick and as for being happy, what’s the use of starting a day sad when you have no reason to be sad yet?” Ryeowook replied with a calm smile.
“And you should always be happy my little turtle.” Yesung whispered as he s his arms around the smaller male. The men around the table rolled their eyes before returning to their meals.
“Good morning Prince Jong Woon,” Ryeowook bowed with a large smile. Yesung chuckled at the use of his real name.
“Wookie, why don’t you sit and eat with us instead of cleaning the kitchen.” The prince said pulling the boy to a seat.
“Is that an order?” Ryeowook asked innocently.
“Geez, and you get on to us for flirting at the table.” Heechul scoffed as he ate his breakfast.
“Be nice Cinderella,” Hankyung ordered from beside his friend.
“He’s right though, it’s not right that we can’t openly flirt at the table and yet here you are openly flirting with the little kid.” Kibum rationed from beside Siwon as he and Shindong pretended to ignore them.
“Sorry, your right, Wookie after breakfast. Siwon tell Sungmin he’s needed back in the kitchens, he should be able to walk by now.” Yesung ordered.
“Of course, but I doubt that Minnie is going to listen to us with Kyuhyun being right next to him.” Siwon stated.
“then tell them their punishment is over so I can get my cook back.” Yesung smirked before scoffing down his food and yanking a barely finished Ryeowook from the kitchen.
SUJU SUJU SUJU
The king growled as he looked over the many papers that littered his desk infront of his throne. When he had his brother killed there had not been this much work. He signed to raise taxes and he signed to have slaves. What more could these people want from him? A noise from outside the room dragged him from his current thoughts as Jong Woon and his little pet walked past laughing and smiling. Jong Woon, his only problem. He had tried to corrupt him, but the boy had remained steadfast in the ways of his mother. A smile crept to his face. The boy had been a problem in his side since he arrived at the palace, and he would do anything for Jong Woon. Jong Woon in turn would do anything that the little pest asked.
“Guards!” the king yelled as several men rushed forward.
“Your majesty,” the men bowed.
“Bring me Kim Ryeowook, my nephews cook.” The king ordered before sending them away. He would make Jong Woon disappear, and the little brat would be the main reason.
