CHARACTER 05
Ryu Solmi
As a dedicated member of the doll community, Solmi's first reaction to seeing a 'pocket boy' is joy. It's a tiny, pocket-sized, human-shaped doll! And it has breathing mechanisms that make it seem real! Her second reaction is confusion. Why is Lavender Teahouse so dark and empty? It almost looks as if no one's here.
Oh well. It wasn't like she really needed her drink, although a sugar rush probably would have helped. But the adrenaline rush she got from finding a realistic pocket boy (she still can't believe it!) is more than enough to get her through the day.
She fantasizes about her plan through the drive home. She'll put him in one of her large dollhouses, the fancy kind with the working lights and furniture, and pretend like he's really alive and using the facilities. That dollhouse even has a working shower and sink if she hooks them up to a source of water. And since he's not actually living, she doesn't need to bother with a toilet... That would be a pain to deal with!
Once inside, she immediately gets to work on her plan. She takes out the dolls that were already in the dollhouse (Carlton Manor, she calls it) and puts the pocket boy inside. Then, she works on hooking the water source to the bathrooms and sinks. With her back turned, it's no wonder she didn't see the little human slowly waking up.
By the time she turns around again, the tiny human has already 'gone back to sleep'. Seeing nothing wrong, she gently picks him up again, off of the floor, to transfer him to the four-poster bed now that the sheets ha
