Pocket Boys! REVIEWS UDPATES CHEAT PLOTS HOME   Dec 13 '23 Hello everyone! We've finished all the character teasers, and I just wanted to update yall on the update situation.

unfortunately, my main occupation right now (translation) is giving me a hard time, so i don't often have the time, energy, or creativity to work on my own things. that means i won't be able to update very regularly at all, and i'm really sorry about that :(

i plan for the story to be only about 12-15 chapters long, with each chapter focusing on one week and each character's POV focusing on one day of the week (it works out because we have 7 characters!). i may adjust the chapter lengths later on if it's taking too much of a toll on me, but for now, this seems doable to me.

i'm realy sorry to once again bring bad news, but recent developments in my job have been making me feel super depressed and defeated, and it's even starting to make me hate writing (which is my one true love, so i'm in a pretty bad state LOL), so i have zero motivation to work on anything creative, including this story.

i just wanted to tell yall that if this continues without getting any better, i may only write a vague proceedings of what happens in pocket boys (like a speedrun of the plot) and drop the rest of the story, but i truly and genuinely appreciate all of you for making the world come to life in my head!

yall may or may not know this, but pocket boys was the very first applyfic i ever planned and tried to write with my friend. obviously, it failed the first time, but i'm really glad that it received so much support on the second try! i know there were a lot of things that i could have handled better, but yall have been so patient with me and i really, really appreciate it.

but yeah, i wanted to tell yall so i don't leave yall in false anticipation. to reiterate, there is a real chance that i may drop this story, and i wouldn't blame any of you for unsubscribing or anything. i will, of course, try my best to proceed, but if it really comes to the point where i have to drop it, i would leave yall with a general breakdown of what the plot was supposed to be.
