≛ the second teaser
— THE MIGHT ≛ 더마이트 ˢᵗᵒʳʸ ˢᵗᵃʳᵗᶦⁿᵍjonghyun
Hey! So, I thought about making a drabble for each applicant. But then I thought I could just make a complete teaser for each new group of applicants. That way, people can enjoy each others' characters before the story starts and we get our main heroes and villains.
I hope y'all like that idea. Let me know what you think. I hope you like this second teaser.
Enjoy, guys!

Everything was in utter shambles. And it seemed that nobody had the motivation to fix it. Even The Ringmaster couldn't muster up the will to revive her people's camp. All but one huddled amongst themselves, as if to drown each other in their own sorrows.
If Seo Minji were anyone else, she could probably ignore the others. However, the sudden build up of despair was causing her head to throb. She dropped the pieces of tent that she was attempting to repair and turned to face her comrades.
"Alright, that's enough." Her voice echoed through the trees as she wielded her power over most of the group. Focusing mostly on The Ringmaster, Minji turned hopelessness into optimism. "We will not sit here and wallow while some of our people are being imprisoned."
Their leader remained silent, but the rest of the group began speaking over each other before one clear voice rang through, "What are we supposed to do against The Real and 777?"
"Fight," finally Yeo spoke. Everyone's eyes went to The Ringmaster as she steadied herself on her feet, still healing from The Real's throw. "We have to fight." Clearing , it looked as if she'd been renewed. She looked out to her people before settling on Seo Minji. "That's enough, Mind Game. Thank you for reminding us what we're fighting for."
Minji released her emotional hold on the group, relieved to feel that almost everyone had a new resolve to get their people back.
"Pack all necessities, and leave the rest behind. We leave at nightfall."
Yeo was beginning to walk away when someone called her name, a nervous tremble obvious in their voice. "But Yeo... Whenever someone tries to fight The Real or 777, they die or disappear."
There was a unanimous mood lingering over everyone, including Minji: fear.
"Should we risk the rest of our group?" Someone else asked, determination wavering once again.
Yeo closed her eyes for a moment then nodded. "Yes. Did you not risk your life when you broke the contract in the first place? Each and every one of you joined my cause knowing what may happen. If we let them keep our own imprisoned, we are no better than those government puppets that try to keep our heads in the dirt." There was a pause before she turned away again. "If you found your morals have changed, leave." The Ringmaster said nothing more as she walked away to gather her belongings.
The ring of criminals stood still, all wondering if any would dare to turn their back on the group. Slowly but surely, they began to follow the example of their leader and started packing anything they needed.
All but Minji, who found her way to Yeo, who put on a brave front but couldn't hide her true feelings from one of her most loyal followers. And she knew it. The small smile she granted the other woman quivered at the corners of her lips. "I have to get them back. I have to get our people back," she whispered.
Minji's smile, in return, was much more confident. "Who's stopping you?"
