Itinigil ni Joohyun yung sasakyan niya sa isang gilid, She just finished the shooting for her first movie, Nakareceive siya ng tawag from Solar kaya napa u-turn tuloy siya ng wala sa oras.

Minamadali siya ni Solar pabalik sa Cubao, around alimall area to be exact. They rented a room good for 10 people sa isang KTV.

She was looking at the busy road of edsa, the cars were moving slowly. She realized its been so long since she last appreciated the small things around her.

She was used to stay inside her house lang naman kasi, si Seulgi lang naman yung nakakapagpalabas sakanya sa kwarto niya at gumala.

Joohyun was the Lazy type, and Seulgi was the hyper one. They were polar opposites, but somehow, Joohyun enjoys Seulgi's adventures as much as Seulgi enjoys Joohyun's cuddle and sleeping habits

But Seulgi isn't here now. She needs to move forward with her life.

She went out of her car holding her prada pouch, most likely they'll make her pay because her friends are very much drunk and she can't talk to them straight.

"Finally" salubong ni Solar na halatang pagod na pagod, Napasapo pa ito sa noo.

"What happened?" Tanong niya

"Joy and Sungjae broke up" Nagtataka si Joohyun na tumingin sa kausap

“Sungjae….Who?”

“Yung gwapong Engineer” Joohyun still can’t remember, baka masyado din kasi siyang occupied this days so she can’t recall

"She passed out on the couch a few minutes ago" Joohyun looked around, nakita niya si Joy na nakahiga sa couch at mukhang nakatulog na nga. Si Wendy na kumakanta habang umiinom ng light beer, si Yerim at Jennie na nagpapalitan ng shots at namumulutan.

“Where are the boys?”

“Asa Cebu pa sila, may tinatapos sa site, di ka nanaman ba nagbabasa ng gc?” Umiling si Joohyun

“Too busy for that” Tumango nalang si Solar, umupo sila sa isang couch and Joohyun started drinking

“You’ll drive pa diba?”

“I’ll stay over at yours, daanan ko nalang bukas sasakyan ko dito” Tumango si Solar, siya lang ang hindi umiinom ngayon dahil siya ang magd-drive sakanilang lahat pauwi mamaya. Joohyun missed the bitter taste of the beer, it's been almost half a year since her friends prevented her na uminom ng alak, because the last time she did sinugod siya sa hospital dahil nagkafever siya kinabukasan. Minsan patago padin siyang umiinom pero she never drank that much since then.

“Joo….i saw her kahapon sa Morayta” Joohyun looked at her

“Did she say anything?” Mahinang tanong ni Joohyun

“Hindi niya ata narinig nung tinatawag ko siya” 

“I miss her” sumandal siya sa balikat ni Solar

“You deserve better Joo….”

“Alam ko…..pero ewan i still do want her after all that happened to us a year ago” 

“Byul said Seulgi’s going to Japan, she’s going to stay with her mother” Byul is Solar’s girlfriend and Seulgi’s bestfriend, Nagkakilala sila ni Solar through Joohyun and Seulgi.

Joohyun was happy for Seulgi, she’s finally reaching out to her mom.

She just wished that the Seulgi would also reach out to her. She still believes na kaya pa nilang ayusin yung nangyari a year ago. They just need to talk.

She suddenly felt Solar patting her head, she didn’t realize na nababasa na pala ng luha niya yung damit nito. “I know you’re thinking na sana she would reach out to you”

She stopped and sighed “But if she really wanted to, she would’ve done that sooner right? Three months mo siyang hinabol Joohyun, you texted her everyday, you called her everyday, pero never naman siyang sumagot, nung pumunta ka sa unit niya wala din siya dun, Tama na Joohyun, mauubos ka na oh, mahalin mo naman yung sarili mo”

“Hayaan mo na siya, she’s not worth it anymore”

Joohyun hates to admit it but what Solar said was right, It should be Seulgi who’s chasing after her nga after that night, It should be Seulgi who’s running after her. 

Joohyun never realized she was begging to be loved.

She never once did that kahit sa tatay niya, she always thought that begging to be loved was pathetic, but with Seulgi, she did almost all the things she never expected she would do.

And from then on, Joohyun promised herself that she will never chase after someone again.

Tatlong araw matapos makita ni Joohyun si Seulgi sa premiere night, She haven’t heard anything from her since then, Sana nga ay never na.

“Tanga niyo talaga” Joohyun’s best friend, Solar, is inside her office now at may kausap ito sa phone, She’s sure na ang kausap nito ay si Jongin. 

“Sige na, tinext ko na girlfriend ko na kayo muna ang sunduin at ihatid” Pagkatapos ay ibinaba nito ang tawag.

“Ano nanaman ba ginawa nung tatlo?” 

Napasapo ito sa noo “Bumigay yung sasakyan na dala nila Jongin, nagpapasundo sa Pasay ang mga gago”

Natawa si Joohyun “Bakit, saan ba sila pupunta?” 

“Hindi ka ba nakikinig? Kanina ko pa sinasabi sayo yung about sa reunion, are you that uninterested sa mga sinasabi ko?”

“Gaga hindi, may iniisip lang ako” Depensa ni Joohyun

“Sino? Yung ex mo? Ikaw Joohyun bawasan mo yung pagkatanga mo ha” Hinampas pa nito ang balikat niya

“Bakit yung ex ko agad?”

“Nagchat si Jennie sakin nung premiere night, nakita daw niya si Seulgi tapos sinuntok mo pa nga daw” Joohyun sighed. What else can she expect, Si Jennie ang suki ng chismis sa tropa nila eh. San ka pa, yung artista pa ang source ng chismis. 

“Tara na kasi, minsan lang naman 'to" Pilit ni Solar kay Joohyun, hinahatak na siya nito palabas sa office niya.

Niyayaya siya nito na pumunta sa reunion party ng batch nila noong college, Wala naman siyang matandaan na may plano yung batch nila or maybe she just ignores almost all the messages in her phone. Joohyun doesn't want to go dahil tinatamad siya, but Solar being her pinakamakulit na bff, hindi uubra ang mga palusot niya dito.

"Tapos na naman yung shooting, hindi ka na masyadong busy, Joohyun sige na" Natawa nalang si Joohyun.

"Oo na sige na, saan ba yan? bakit hindi ko alam?" Pumalakpak si Solar

"Malapit sa school, May club si Jisoo malapit dun, you still remember her?" 

"As in the Jisoo na muse ng batch natin dati? yung maganda?" Tumango si Solar

"Oo yung maganda, Yung SC president ata nagrent nung venue" 

Joohyun can't remember her face vividly, pero sigurado siyang maganda si Jisoo, she do remember na she had seen her a few times kahit they were never in the same class together.



 

"Can i tag along? Sa Ateneo din naman ako dati ahead lang kayo ng 2 years" Napatingin silang dalawa kay Rosé, Director din and kapatid ni Chanyeol na tropa ni Joohyun.  Kanina pa pala ito nakikinig sakanila.

"Uy sakto kailangan may date daw pag pupunta" 

"You never said that earlier?" Siniko ni Solar ng patago si Joohyun noong magsalita ito.

"Dadaanan ako ni Seungwan tapos nasa baba na siya, two seater lang sasakyan niya, Rosie pwede isabay mo nalang to si Joo?" Ang galing din talaga neto ni Solar, siya nagaaya pero ipapasabay sa iba ang bff niya. Joohyun just rolled her eyes.

"Yeah, no worries" Ngumiti si Solar before she bids her farewell sa dalawang directors.

"Congrats on your latest movie, It's getting really good reactions" Rosè spoke while they were walking towards the latter's car.

"Thank you Chaeng, It's all thanks to Jennie and Lisa, they portrayed the characters just like how i wanted it to be"

Joohyun likes to call Rosé by her nickname from her birth name, she just thinks it's unique. 

They were quiet the whole ride hanggang sa club, Masyado din kasing pagod si Joohyun to start a conversation with her.

Sinundo sila ni Solar na nauna lang ng saglit sa kanila.

“Boss B!” Hindi pa siya nakakapasok sa loob ay sinalubong na siya ng yakap nila Jongin. 

“Gago di ako makahinga” Ang hihigpit yumakap ng mga ampon niya.

“Bakit andito si Chanyeol? Akala ko ba reunion to ng mga atenean, bawal taga yellow school dito huy” Joohyun teased the tallest guy

“Date ko yan Joohyun, palibhasa kasi wala ka na madadala na galing yellow school dito” Sabat ni Baekhyun. Nagtawanan naman sila.

Pagkapasok nila sa loob ng club ay agad na kumaway sila Seungwan sakanya mula sa second floor, May table na nakareserve para sa kanila.

“G na, sagot ko first round ng drinks” Naghiyawan naman sila Jongin, Joohyun thought that somehow she needs to loosen up din. It’s been so long since nakapag club sila.

The place was crowded pero malaki ito, Pop songs ang mga tugtog at may mga nagsasayaw na sa dance floor. Yung ibang friends ni Joohyun ay gumagala din sa club at hinahanap yung mga classmate nila dati.

“Bakit pala andito ka? Hindi ka naman nila kabatch” tanong ni Chanyeol kay Rosé

“Ikaw nga nandito din pero galing ka yellow school, hindi naman ako nagsalita” She fights him back, natawa lang si Chanyeol

“Grabe sungit ha, kuya mo padin ako”

“Kaya nga, malas naman” Nagtawanan sila sa sagot nito

Dumating na yung dalawang bote ng Jack Daniels sa table nila, Nanlaki naman agad yung mata ni Joohyun.

“Sandali gago dalawang bote agad ng JD para sa first round? Balak niyo ba mamatay ngayong gabi?” Tumawa lang yung mga kasama niya. Ganito din naman gawain nila nung college, sa first round yung hard drinks tapos yung light drinks pang last.

Nagsimula ng umikot yung shots pagkatapos dumating nung order nilang sisig.

The music suddenly stopped kaya halos lahat napatingin sa baba and they saw jisoo holding the mic.

“I hope everyone’s having fun! Yung next round ng drinks niyo charge niyo na saakin” 

“Yon! Kaya idol kita eh!” Sigaw ni Jongin mula sa second floor, napaka-ingay talaga ng isang to. Nagthumbs-up si Jisoo sakanya at tumawa.

“Joohyun shot mo na” She took the shot glass from Seungwan’s hand, at ininom ito ng diretso. Naramdaman agad niya yung pait sa lalamunan niya. Nakailang ikot na din ang shot glass at hindi alam ni Joohyun kung pang-ilan na itong iniinom niya.

After she drank her shot, sakto naman na napatingin ulit siya sa dance floor, and she wished she never did.

Joohyun doesn’t know kung may tama na kaagad siya after a few shots because why is she seeing Seulgi standing there while smiling at her.

May pa background music pa nga ang DJ and a familiar song started to play. One of the songs she used to listen after ng breakup nila ni Seulgi noon, still hits her hard until now.

Inagaw ni Joohyun ang shot glass sa kamay ni Solar at napashot bigla ng wala sa oras, sa lahat ng kanta, eto pa talaga, tangina naman.
