It is not Karina's plan to eat dinner with Giselle, or in this matter, Winter. It is also not her plan to make the girl sit beside her inside her own car. 

"It's nice that you're nearby when Giselle called," Karina said awkwardly. Sino ba naman kasing tao ang mag-aaya ng dinner tapos uuna na sa restaurant?

"Oo nga e. I mean, I never really thought na sobrang lapit lang ng talyer sa station niyo," natatawang sabi ni Winter at nagshrug. 

"How are you? I mean with this Yunjin thing," tanong ni Karina. There would be no benefit in ignoring the elephant in the room, or well, inside the car. 

Winter chuckled.

"All is going well, I guess. We talked on the phone for a short while after the show." Nakangiting sabi ni Winter.

It kind of hurt Karina. 

"Nice. That's—" Karina sighed before smiling fakely.

"That's nice." Bulong niya at nagpark sa may restaurant na tinext ni Giselle. Tumingin aiya kay Winter at ngumiti.

"Let's go inside?" She asked. Winter nodded her head actively before giggling. Nauna na siyang lumabas sa Jimny ni Karina. 

The taller girl calmed herself down before stepping out of her car. 

"You know, you really look attractive with your work clothes." Nakangising sabi ni Winter.

"You're such a flirt, Winter." The older said and rolled her eyes playfully. 

Hindi siya pwedeng mafall. Winter believes in love. She worships the idea of it. And Karina, she just thinks so differently. 

And based on everything she sees and reads, falling in love with someone so differently would end up badly. Lalo na kung hindi sila marunong magcompromise. 

"In my defense, I have no intention to flirt with you. I want to see how this thing with Yunjin goes." Winter said and smiled genuinely. Karina nodded her head.

"Good. Because I, too, have no intention of falling in love." 

Sabay silang pumasok sa restaurant. Napatigil si Karina sa paglalakad nang makita si Giselle, kasama ang lahat ng kaibigan nila. She shook her head and rolled her eyes.

"Who's with Giselle?" Tanong ni Winter at tumingin sakanya. She smiled awkwardly. 

"They're my friends. I am sorry, I didn't know na we would dine with them." 

It's unbelievable. Bakit siya ang magsosorry sa ginawa ni Giselle?

"Oh! That's so nice naman. Una ka na sa table, I have to answer this call lang," sabi ni Winter at ipinakita ang phone niya. 

Karina nodded her head before walking straight to their reserved table.

"ing Gi. Why are they here?" Bungad na tanong ni Karina.

"Wow, nakakaoffend ka naman, Ate." Liz said and shook her head.

"I didn't know you'll be joining us," nakataas na kilay na sabi ni Karina. Wonyoung scoffed.

"Ate Gi said you've met a new friend." Sabi niya. Karina sat on an empty chair and crossed her arms.

"I want you all to behave. Baka maawkward sa inyo si Winter." Utos niya.

"Ang bait kaya namin!" Yuna exclaimed. 

"No offense, pero you all know how to make people feel awkward." Karina sighed. Why are they even making this such a big deal? She met Winter in a salon, they became good friends after meeting randomly in different places. Is it that weird?

"Oh please. Si Wonyoung lang naman ang magaling sa ganun," natatawang sabi ni Chaeryeong. 

Maya-maya pa ay dumating na si Winter. Her face is dark like she heard the bad news. 

"Are you okay?" Giselle asked the younger girl. Winter sat beside Karina and nodded her head.

"Just heard something awful. Anyway, I am Winter. Pleased to meet you all," sabi niya at biglang kumaway sa ibang kaibigan nila Karina at Giselle. 

Yuna smirked, her eyes glint with mischief.

"I am Yuna. I heard a lot about you." Makahulugan niyang pagpapakilala. 

"Hey, Chaeryeong here. Sorry in advance sa mga gagawin nila," Chaeryeong said and smiled sweetly. Siya lang naman ang pinakamatinong kaibigan ni Karina e. 

"Good evening, Ate! I am Liz, and I hope na libre mo ang dinner ko ngayon." Sabi ni Liz at pumalakpak. Siniko naman siya ni Wonyoung na katabi niya lamang. 

"The name's Wonyoung." Sabi niya at tumango lamang kay Winter. 

Winter nodded her head shyly. 

The taller girl is looking at her intently. Did something happen? Bakit biglang nag-iba ang mood ni Winter?

"Did something happen?" She whispered at the younger girl. Busy na ang mga kaibigan niya sa pagpili ng pagkain sa menu. Winter looked at her and shook her head a little. 

Hinawakan ni Karina ang wrist ni Winter na nakapatong sa may lap ni niya.

"Want to talk about it?" Karina asked, her voice is too quiet. Ayaw naman niyang marinig sila ng iba. 

"Later. Dinner muna," bulong din ni Winter at umayos na sa pagkakaupo. 

After ordering, nagtitigan lamang sila. 

"Uh-uhm, titigan lang ba tayo?" Nahihiyang tanong ni Winter. 

"No, of course not. Say, Winter, how'd you meet our friend?" 

Wonyoung asked. Karina raised her brow. Why are they asking Winter something like that? They are not even dating or something. 

"Wonyoung." Karina warned. Winter chuckled. 

"It is a funny story, actually. Nasa salon ako that time, then she suddenly walked to me, asked me about what haircut she should try." Nakangiting sagot ni Winter. They all nodded their head while humming. Napairap na lamang si Karina sa nakita niya. Her friends are a bunch of fools!

"And?" Yuna asked. Tiningnan niya si Karina at nakita ang buhok na sinasabi ni Winter. She smirked.

"Are you bobo, Yuna? That's it." Nakakunot ang noo na sabi ni Karina. 

"Weh? That's it lang?" Liz asked.

"We met a few times sa other places. Totally coincidence though." Sagot ulit ni Winter. Karina sighed. 

Kailan ba titigil sa ganito ang friends niya?

"You're just friends though, no?" Tanong ni Chaeryeong. 

"Please, girls. Stop it." Utos ni Karina. Ayaw naman niyang maging awkward si Winter sakanila. She wants the girl to feel comfortable. So, she decided to hold her hand, softly. 

"Thank you," bulong ni Winter at hinigpitan ang pagkakahawak sa kamay ni Karina.

"What are friends for?" Tanong ni Karina at ngumiti. 

"Can I call you later? Hindi pa kasi nakaschedule ang RadioLove ko," biro ni Winter. Karina nodded her head. 

"Of course, you can. Call me anytime, and I promise to answer it before the third ring."

"Hoy, kasama niyo pa kami!" Giselle exclaimed.
