Nakacrossed arms si Karina habang nakaupo sa backseat ng SUV ni Giselle.

"Saan na naman ba tayo pupunta?" She asked, annoyed. 

It's a Saturday night. Tomorrow is her rest day. And tonight is supposed to be her laundry night. 

"Loosen up, Ate! Remember yung cousin ni Wonyo? May gig sila sa Fourks," sabi ni Liz at ngumisi. Karina groaned. 

Hindi naman siya marunong uminom. She can hold her liquor, pero she hates the taste of the alcohol. 

Ang pait kaya, tapos it burns pa.

"Pake ko ba sa pinsan ni Wonyoung?" Bulong ni Karina. Don't get her wrong. She does care for the people around her, but she has laundry she needs to take care of. 

"They're a great band, Ate. Don't complain na." Sabi ni Wonyoung at umirap. 

"Hindi naman kayo yung walang isusuot bukas." Bulong ulit ni Karina. 

She's whiny. She knows that, and she's not even trying to say otherwise. 

"Tama na ang pagrereklamo, please!" Sigaw ni Giselle. 

Hinila ni Yuna si Karina pababa. They know when to stop, but this is not the time. The older girl needs to have fun, dapat lang na pinipilit siyang magbar. 

Karina groaned when she set food inside the bar. Mausok ang paligid, at amoy alak. 

"Nasaan pala yung banda, Wonyo?" Tanong ni Chaeryeong. 

"Nasa backstage siguro. I'll introduce you to them mamaya. Upo muna tayo," sabi ni Wonyoung at umupo sa couch. 

Karina sat down and roamed her eyes in the area. She scrunched her nose when she saw the people making out in front of her. 

"Good evening, everyone!" Napatingin sila sa may stage. A petite girl spoke. Nakastrap ang gitara niya sa likod. Karina hummed. 

Nakikita niya ang babae. Siya pala ang pinsan ni Wonyoung. 

"We're Serendipity, please enjoy the night." She said. The band started playing. They are good. Better than most bands that Karina heard. 

Pero bad trip pa rin siya dahil sa paghila sakanya papunta dito sa bar.

"Enjoy ka naman, Karina!" Sigaw ni Giselle. Karina rolled her eyes before taking a shot. 

Bahala na. Day off naman niya bukas. 

"Done na ata sila," biglang sabi ni Wonyoung at tumayo. Nakaka-tatlong shot pa lang yata si Karina, tapos na agad yung banda? Ang bilis naman. 

"Where are we going na naman?" Karina asked, she took another shot before looking at her friends. 

"Lasing ka na ba agad, Ate?" Liz asked with a raised brow.

"Papakilala nga raw tayo ni Wonyoung doon sa cousin niya." Sagot naman ni Yuna at hinila na ulit si Karina. Siya ata ang nakatoka ngayon sa paghihila sa nakakatanda. 

"Ate Chae, come here." Pagtawag ni Wonyoung. She gestured for the vocalist of the band to come closer to them. The small girl excused herself from her bandmates and walked toward them while grinning. 

"Wonyoung! My favorite cousin. What brings you here?" The girl asked. 

"I want you to meet my friends. Karina, Giselle, Yuna, Chaeryeong and Liz." Itinuro sila isa-isa ni Wonyoung. They all nodded their heads toward the girl. 

"I am Chaewon. Pleased to meet y'all. By the way, since nandito na rin naman kayo, pakilala ko na kayo sa jowa ko." May lumapit sakanila na babae. Mas matangkad siya nang konti kay Chaewon.

Karina rolled her eyes internally. What's with people who love to show off their significant other? 

"Guys, this is my girlfriend, Minju." They smiled at the girl. Inilibot ulit ni Karina ang tingin niya sa loob ng bar.

It's much more interesting than the current conversation. 

Karina's lips tugged upwards. Of course, Winter would be here. 

"CR lang," paalam ni Karina at naglakad papunta kay Winter. Hindi niya napansin na mayroong mga kasama si Winter. 

Her eyes are locked in Winter's direction. 

"Miss Summer, pleasure to meet you here." Sabi ni Karina. Nasa likod siya ni Winter kaya hindi siya agad nakita ng dalaga. 

Winter jerked in surprise and looked back at her.

"Karina! Ginulat mo naman ako." The younger said and shook her head. 

"Uy! Boss Win, sino yan?" Tanong ng isang babae sa likod ni Winter. Karina blushed when she realized that her friend is not alone. 

"Ah, si Karina! Kaibigan ko," sagot naman ni Winter. Tumayo siya at hinila si Karina sa isang bakanteng table.

She smiled at the taller girl. 

"We keep on bumping into each other," the shorter girl muttered. Karina shrugged.

"My friends actually forced me e. The vocalist of the band kasi is my friend's cousin." Kumunot ang noo ni Winter.

"Bakit mo pala iniwan ang friends mo? Nasaan ba sila? Ibabalik muna kita," sabi ni Winter at ngumisi. Karina rolled her eyes, her lips still smiling. 

"They're talking with Chaewon, yung vocalist. Pinakilala kasi niya yung girlfriend niya," itinuro ni Karina ang mga kaibigan niya. Buti na lamang at tanaw mula sa table na inuupuan nila ni Winter. 

The younger girl froze. 

"Yun ba yung girlfriend?" She asked and pointed at Minju. Karina nodded her head. 

"Yep, si Minju. Bakit?" 

Winter shook her head before drinking the beer.

"Siya yung kinuwento ko sainyo. Yung unang story," Karina's lips formed a thin line. Her eyebrows met in the middle. So that's the girl. 

She just hopes that Winter has already moved on. 

"Well, I was right. Nakatuluyan niya nga ang best friend niya na lagi niyang kinukwento sayo. Okay ka lang ba?" Winter shrugged and chuckled. 

"Oo naman! Nandito ako kasama yung bago kong kinukwento sayo. Her name's Yunjin," Karina nodded her head slowly. 

"That's nice. Anyway, Winter, I need to go back to my friends na. It is so nice to see you ulit," tatayo na sana si Karina pero hinawakan ni Winter ang braso niya. 

The younger girl looked at her with her doe eyes. She is smiling widely.

"Why?" Tanong ni Karina. And it was like she was hypnotized. She mirrored the same expression. Ang ganda pala talaga ni Winter sa malapitan. Karina wanted to pinch the girl's cheeks. 

"Alam mo, I am not really a loser." Napakunot ang noo ni Karina. Anong sinasabi ni Winter? 

The younger girl is still smiling. 

"I never said you are." Natawa naman si Winter sa sagot ni Karina. 

"Alam ko. Ang ibig kong sabihin, it never took me this long to get a girl's number. So, DJ Karina, can I have your number?"
