Ten walked back in and realized his wife was now up and everyone in the room went instantly quiet.

It was evident he had interrupted something seeing that Tzuyu was on the verge of tears.

His wife looked away from him as he sat next to her on the bed. 

“How are you feeling love?” he asked, ignoring Mina and Taeyong. 

“Better,” she responded still avoiding eye contact, Mina then went to her free side and kissed her forehead

“I love you, I’ll see you at home,” Mina told Tzuyu

Ten had forgotten that she was going to stay with them until Mark stepped up and apologized to his wife which didn't look too promising if he was being honest.

“Come on Taeyong,” Mina called out as she stepped out of the room.

Ten looked over his shoulder and saw Taeyong hesitate momentarily but quickly followed Mina out of the room.

“Are you sure you feel better?” Ten asked his wife, who finally faced him and gave him a small nod

“What did the doctor tell you Ten?” she asked him and he got up off the bed

“He told me that you are pregnant,” he told her and saw the apparent shock on her face but suddenly it was replaced with what looked like a genuinely happy smile

“That’s amazing” she whispered and he saw as she put her hand on her stomach

“Is it?” he asked coldly Tzuyu looked up at him confused at his sudden change of tone he imagined

“Yes it is, why-” “You can't even say that you love me willingly unless you're drunk, how can you love a child that is the flesh of my flesh as much as it will be yours?” he cut her off, his anger evident

“I can't believe we are having this conversation” she scoffed as tears brimmed in her eyes again.

“I know that you and I have a different type of marriage but that doesn't mean that I hate you. Ten, I am happy to be pregnant and that this baby is yours. Why are you taking this happiness of this good news away from me?” Tzuyu asked as tears streamed down her pretty face.

Ten took a deep breath, his wife was right he clearly was being irrational towards her and her feelings.

He was throwing a jealous tantrum because of Lee Taeyong and in the end, Tzuyu was his wife and he should at the very least trust her.

She was pregnant with his baby, she had looked so genuinely happy before he opened his big mouth.

However, his pride was hurt and he needed the answer as to what her ex-lover was talking about with her.

Ten sighed and sat next to her again “What were you talking about with Lee Taeyong when I walked in?” he didn't want to apologize just yet for the way he was acting

“Nothing,” his wife said avoiding his eyes yet again

“Did he tell you that he still loves you? That he will take care of you if you leave me? I have a right to know Chou Tzuyu,” he gritted, again his feelings were hurt seeing that Taeyong still had a hold of his wife’s heart and there was nothing he could do about it.

Tzuyu sighed resigned and met his eyes “Yes, he told me that he loves me and that we should be together,” 

Tzuyu's confession hurt although he had known the truth, hearing her admission stung a lot more than he had imagined, he honestly thought Tzuyu wasn't going to tell him anything.

Ten felt his tears escape “And are you going to leave me Tzuyu?” 

“Of course, not Ten. Please, I don't want to fight about this. Let's just be happy for our baby.” Tzuyu cried with him

The pain Ten felt in his heart was overpowering and he just couldn't overlook the fact that his wife was still in love with another man as she carried his baby.
