Another Crush?

3 Identities of my Mysterious Wife

"Woah I didn't know there was such a bedroom in this yacht! This is daebak!" Mihye's eyes were wide with surprise as L.Joe took her into the largest bedroom where they were supposed to share. He insisted upon this arrangement after seeing Kevin look at Mihye in that strangely familiar way.

L.Joe just smiled as he shut the door, finally having time for the two of them. "If you like it, we can come again another time." he offered. "Just the two of us, without the rest of the crazy goons." he smiled.

Mihye giggled. "They aren't crazy goons, Byunghun oppa." she shook her head. "But yes! I'd love to come here again." she sighed contently and sat down on the bed. Even though it was a bunk that was slightly bigger than usual sized ones, but it was still comfortable. She laid down on it happily and moved her hands and legs.

"Making snow angels on the bed?" L.Joe teased as he laid beside her and did the same. Mihye giggled at his goofy self. "Ani. Warming the bed so we can sleep." she grinned.

L.Joe shook his head in amusement and watched as she still made "bed angels" in that cute way of hers. "You don't look sleepy." L.Joe commented."Had a good nap just now?"

Mihye nodded. "Hm." she acknowledged. "It was a good nap!" she stretched. "I wonder why I didn't feel hot even though I slept under the sun..." she scratched her head thoughtfully.

L.Joe's face turned black. *Because of Kevin hyung.* he remained silent. He turned to look at her for a moment. Mihye felt his gaze and her side to look at him as well. Her eyes met his in a sweet connection that brought goofy smiles on their faces.

"Mihye ah." L.Joe mumbled.

"Neh oppa?" Mihye responded, looking at him.

"Since you're not that tired yet, I know of a game we can play." L.Joe grinned. Mihye raised her brows. "Game? What game?" she asked curiously.

L.Joe slyly reached for a pillow while she wasn't looking and hit her arm. "Pillow fight!" he declared grandly. Mihye gaped at him for a moment, but not before taking another pillow and whacking L.Joe on his stomach. "Get that Byunghun oppa!" she laughed.

L.Joe shook his head in amusement and tickled her sides while Mihye tried to aim her pillow at him. They rolled about in bed laughing, while Mihye squealed from the tickles. "Byunghun oppa!" Mihye giggled, red in the face. L.Joe rolled them over and hovered above her. He brushed her hair out of her face tenderly. "Arraso I'll stop." he laughed.

They cooled down for a moment and stared at each other. All of a sudden, the beating of their hearts were oddly loud, and they were vividly aware of the heat radiatinf from the other's body. L.Joe gulped and his eyes lingered on her pink lips.

*Damn. what is happening?* he bit his own lips in response.

Befor he could determine what to do, the door suddenly burst opened and a familiar figure appeared in the doorway. "MIHYE AH!" Kevin yelped when he flung the door opened. L.Joe scrambled off Mihye hurriedly and helped her sit up, both of them reaching for the nearest pillows to fill the sudden emptiness.

"Kevin oppa?" Mihye blinked.

Kevin ran into their room and looked Mihye up and down. "Did anything happen?" Kevin asked worriedly. "I heard you screaming and squealing and I thought.."

"Nothing, Kevin oppa." Mihye assured him. "Byunghun oppa and I were just playing around." she smiled lightly. L.Joe nodded and narrowed his eyes at Kevin. "Yeah. I couldn't possibly hurt her right, she's my wife." he declared, stressing on the word "My" without even noticing it.

Kevin's face fell and he nodded. He retreated to the door again and smiled, which L.Joe noticed was only directed to Mihye. "Well then, goodnight." he closed the door and disappeared.

Mihye stretched and yawned. "I'm sleepy Byunghun oppa, I'll turn in first." she crawled under the covers. "That pillow fight was exhausting." she giggled. L.Joe smiled at her and tucked her in. "Good night." he whispered. He looked away and frowned to himself, looking at the door where Kevin was at moments ago.

*This is getting irritating, Kevin hyung.*

L.Joe woke up to an empty bed and the smell of waffles and bacons. He stretched slightly and turned over, frowning at the empty space where Mihye had been sleeping. "She woke up to make breakfast again." L.Joe shook his head. "When will it get in her head that she's my wife, not my maid?" he murmured.

He crawled out of bed and washed up briefly before going to the kitchen to find Mihye. "Hey Mih-" he stopped in his steps when he saw the sight in front of him.

Kevin and Mihye were cooking breakfast together like newly weds, standing side by side. Mihye was making scrambled eggs, flipping them gracefully in the air like the pro she was. Her long hair cascaded down her face, obstructing her ability to see what she was making.

Kevin found a spare rubber band and he took Mihye's hair, tying it for her tenderly. Mihye stiffened, blinking at the contact. "What are you doing, Kevin oppa?"

Kevin smiled at him. "Tying your hair. It'll affect your view." he said like he tied other girls hair everyday. Mihye nodded slowly and continued cooking. "Arraso. Gomawo Kevin oppa." she responded unsurely.

Kevin smiled at her and helped her with the cooking, watching her lovingly and brushing her bangs out of her face when they fell into her face. L.Joe closed his eyes to control that tugging feeling in his chest, but it escalated into something more. It felt like a fierce creature bursting out of him and it was getting hard to keep calm.

He quickly exited the place and ran to the deck, taking deep breaths. He fished for his phone and was relieved to see that even out at sea, he miraculously still had connection. He immediately sent a message to his best talking buddy ever.

To: Miss Apple

Apple, I'm really confused right now. I need help.

From: L.Joe

Mihye cocked her head to the side when she read the message. "Kevin oppa, can you take over? I'll just reply a message." she smiled at him.

To: L.Joe

Waeyo? What happened?

From: Miss Apple

To: Miss Apple

I told you before, I already had someone I liked right? I even thought of my future with her and all, but...it's getting weird. I have no idea what is happening, but when I see this other girl with another guy, I just...I'm just angry. I don't understand. I don't love the girl, and that guy is one of my longest friends. But I just can't smile when I see them together. Why is that?
I can't like her right? I already like the first girl.

From: L.Joe

Mihye frowned. "That sounds bad." she whispered. She thought of L.Joe and how their lips had just been inches away from each other the previous night and her face automatically turned pink.

*And oddly familiar.* she added in her mind.

To: L.Joe

I think you may be developing a crush for this second girl as well, Mister L.Joe sshi. It may be common when your feelings for the first girl wasn't as deep as you have thought in the beginning.
Maybe it's just a passing thing. Don't worry too much about it.

From: Miss Apple

L.Joe buried his face in his hands. *I hope it's just a passing thing too.* he muttered. *How can I like both the Queen and Mihye, and at the same time think that Miss Apple is cute and mysterious? Damn it.
