Winter's POV 

 

"puppy, message me when you got there okay?" hinawakan ni Karina ang kamay ko at tiningnan ako nararamdaman kong gusto niyang sumama sa akin ngayon. Hinintay ko lang ang dismissal nila para makapagpaalam ako personally bago ako umalis at makipagkita kay Chaewon.

 

"I will, adi. okay?" naramdaman kong ang pagsqueeze niya sa kamay ko, napangiti ako dahil sa ginawa niya. "I'll see you tomorrow, mahal and don't worry i'll call you later okay?" I moved closer to her para halikan ang noo niya. "take care on your way home." she just nodded at me. 

 

"tara na karina, kapit na kapit ka na kay winter parang kang bata dyan." asar ni Ning sa kanya that made Karina whine.

I waited for them na makaalis muna bago ako sumakay ng kotse ko. Napatingin ako sa notification sa phone ko eksakto naman na nag-message si  Chaewon na malapit na siya. Agad akong nagmaneho dahil papunta sa cafe na sinasabi niya.

 

 

Habang nagda-drive halo halo yung nararamdaman ko kaba, takot, and masaya rin kasi finally, malalaman ko na kung sino talaga ang may pakana ng lahat. 

 

Alam kong nagsisisi si Chaewon sa ginawa niya, the first time she saw me sa Japan halos hindi siya makatingin sa akin. Kwinento niya na  araw araw siyang nilalamon ng guilt and if not because of Minju she might have lose it already. She tried a lot of times to approach me and  surrender herself sa mga pulis pero naunahan siya ng takot.

 

 

I was really hesitant when Chaewon said na hindi niya entirely kasalanan ang nangyari after niya magkwento sa akin  but sabi niya nga may ebidensya siya at handa pa rin naman siya na harapin yung pwedeng maging hatol sa kanya. 

 

I honestly didn't expect it because I didn't even know na Minju was in a relationship nung na uh nilandi or we kinda flirted each other. Chaewon told me na the plan was just to scare me, she admitted asking someone na luwagan yung brake sa kotse ko para hindi ako makapag-brake agad if ever, it was just that hindi niya rin inexpect na si Karina ang gagamit ng kotse ko.

 

 

 

 

 

Pagpasok ko pa lang sa cafe ay agad kong nakita si Chaewon. Dumiretso ako sa table kung nasaan siya at umupo sa tapat niya.

 

"hey." bati ko sa kanya. 
 

"hey. you wanna order first?" i just nodded and nag order lang ako ng iced coffee. 

 

"so.." i started. "what is it?" tanong ko sa kanya. 

 

"I was right." napatingin ako sa kanya. "like what I told you I didn't intend to hurt anyone though late ko na narealize na you might have get hurt pa rin sa ginawa ko." napabuntong hininga siya. "I was just trying to scare you because of what you did to Minju. I was so mad dahil you threw her away ng ganon lang. I'm sorry..she means everything to me and alam kong ang immature na umabot ako sa ganitong point dahil sa galit ko sayo." pinakinggan ko lang siya ng mabuti. "i know it was childish, you could have get killed because of what I did." 

 

 

Huminga nang malalim si Chaewon. "but the thing is..yung inutusan ko he's a mechanic. he knows how this things work." 

 

"what do you mean?" 

 

"niluwagan niya lang talaga yung brake ng kotse mo" chaewon then showed me a picture. "i saw this on our convo, he sent me this after doing the work" it was my car. 

 

 

"this was the picture that was taken by the police sobrang magkaiba sila diba? this one sa police sobrang destroyed na, hindi yung inutusan ko ang may gawa niyan." she explained.

 

 

"then..are you telling me someone came in after ng inutusan mo?" 

 

 

"yes. and sigurado ako doon." 

 

 

"but sino? walang cctv that time, we could have even catch you kung meron." napasandal ako sa upuan ko. 

 

 

"i won't have the courage to tell you this kung wala akong hawak, winter. I'm sincerely sorry about what I did and I told you if magsasampa ka ng kaso sa kin i'll the responsibility. I felt so guilty about what happened to Karina. She didn't do anything wrong, even you. It was just my problem na naging immature ako. I should have listened to my friend." she looked at me straight to my eyes. "but..i won't take all the blame either." 

 

 

"let me show you something." may plinay na video si Chaewon sa phone niya at ipinakita ito sa akin. "I seriously felt guilty nung nalaman ko yung nangyari kay Karina, kinausap ko yung inutusan ko and he was insisting hindi niya niremove yung break. I know him and he won't lie to me. He told me na may kotseng naka-park sa tapat ng kotse mo that time. Hinanap ko yung owner but it was kinda hard to do it dahil I don't have any idea anong kotse yon. It took me some time dahil may part din sa akin na gusto kong linisin yung sarili ko. I honestly thought of surrendering myself sa mga police but Hangyul convinced me na something wrong happened, hindi niya ako ipapahamak so he told me to investigate on my own. he helped me actually." I felt her eyes on me. "then I found the owner of the car, she gave me the copy of her 
dash-cam recording that time." 

 

 

"that's him, hangyul. the guy I asked to do the job. as you can see he didn't take long umalis siya after ilang minuto. just continue watching." I stared at the phone, finast forward ko na yung video. 

 

 

"someone, approached your car." napatingin ako nang maigi sa video, the guy was wearing a cap tapos naka tshirt lang. I noticed how he anxiously looked around habang may ginagalaw sa kotse ko same spot kung saan nagpunta yung hangyul. 

 

 

"i can't recognize him." sabi ko kay Chaewon, he removed it completely. . If I have my dashcam recording that time we would be able to catch him. 

 

 

"you know him." napatingin ako kay Chaewon. 

 

"play the next video." pinindot ko yung sumunod na video. 

 

"cctv footage mula sa shop katapat ng restaurant." 

 

"what? wait I thought sira yung cctv nila that time?" 

 

"I paid them matapos ang trabaho ni hangyul. I took the video. After kong makuha yung dashcam video, inulit ulit ko yung recording na to and I found out who was it." 

 

 

I continued playing the video not until the guy looked at the cctv accidentally. 

 

"what the ." 

 

"I'll take responsibility of what I did but I guess you have to make him pay too, I'm sorry Winter." 

 

I took all the evidence from Chaewon well she actually prepared it on a flashdrive. Kailangan kong sabihin to kay Ate. 

 

 

 

 

Agad akong nagdrive papunta sa company since for sure Ate will be there naman. Sinalubong ako ng secretary ni Ate she said nasa meeting si Ate but matatapos naman daw so I could definitely wait na lang. 

 

 

"puppy, kumusta?" tumawag si karina.
"hey, adi. nasa company ako ngayon I need to talk to Ate Taeyeon." 
"are you okay?"
"yeah, I am don't worry." 
"kumusta yung paguusap niyo ni chaewon?" 
"i'll tell you everything in person mahal and she also wants to meet you." 
"it's not a problem though." 
"I'll see you soonest, mahal."
"aryt, take care puppy." 

 

 

 

"himala ata na binisita ako ng magaling kong kapatid?" nagpaalam na ako kay Karina nang dumating bigla si Ate. "just kidding, come here." ate taeyeon enveloped me with a hug. 

 

"so what brings you here?" tanong niya sa kin.

 

"ate, i need your help." 

 

"about?" 

 

"karina." 

 

"anong nangyari kay karina?" 

 

"no I mean it's about her accident." 

 

"winter you know until now we're still working on it." 

 

"I know who did it." 

 

"you what?" napatingin sa akin si Ate.

 

"I know who did it, Ate. I have evidence. I want you to file a case against him right away." 

 

"nakausap mo na sila karina? I need to speak to Jessica." 

 

"I will talk to them but ipaayos mo na yung case sa lawyer natin." I gave him the flashdrive. "here's the evidence, ate." 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Ryujin's POV 

 

"are you sleepy na?" tanong ni Yeji sa akin kaya agad akong napabalikwas sa pagkakaupo ko medyo antok na nga talaga kasi ako. "cute. you can sleep muna sa couch if you want." i smiled at her. 

 

 

"i'm good, don't worry focus ka lang sa ginagawa mo." sabi ko sa kanya. she was doing a lab kasi and sabi ko sasamahan ko siya kaya nandito ako sa bahay nila ngayon, pinapanood siya gumawa ng task niya. 

 

"malapit na rin akong matapos promise." i shook my head. "relax lang, focus lang dyan tsaka i don't mind watching you lang naman." tumingin siya sa akin at inirapan ako. 

 

"nakakainis ka." she always say that pag kinikilig. 

 

 

Napatingin ako sa phone wallpaper ko,  picture ni yeji nung nasa japan kami. I am seriously embarassed about our  first "international" date.

 

Gusto ni yeji magdrive around the area kaya I rented a car for us it was fun really, she wouldn't stop taking pictures of the people, restaurants, 
scenery and even me. I took this photo when we stopped sa Ueno Park, we enjoyed the area ang epic nga lang nung pabalik na kami muntik kami maiwan ng flight namin kasi naligaw kami pabalik ni Yeji. 

 

 

After ilang minuto ay nai-submit na ni Yeji yung papers niya. Kinuha ko yung glasses ng juice at yung kinainan namin sa table at dinala sa kitchen nila. 

 

"yay movie time!" masiglang sabi niya pagkasara niya ng laptop niya. 

 

"ang dami mo pang energy hindi ba ikaw napagod sa ginawa mo?" tanong ko sa kanya. 

 

"napagod but manonood tayong movie so i'm excited." nginitian niya ako, hay nakakatunaw talaga ngiti niya. 

 

 

 

Yeji invited me to her room kasi nga manonood kami ng movies. Nagprepare siya ng nachos and drinks though water lang since ayaw niya sa soda. "what should we watch?" tanong ko sa kanya kasi nagsscroll na ako sa netflix, she set up a projector sa room niya para mas malaki daw yung screen which is cute kasi para kaming nasa sinehan talaga. 

 

"you choose." sabi niya sabay upo sa kama niya. 

 

"ikaw." sagot ko.

 

"huh?" 

 

"ikaw lang ang pipiliin palagi." hinampas niya ako ng unan. 

 

"nakakainis to. seryoso na kasi." well i'm serious naman don.

 

"hmm.how bout 30 days of night?" suggest ko, well hindi ko pa napapanood to nakita ko lang sa suggested. 

 

"vampires? sounds fun, sure." plinay ko na agad yung movie. 

 

 

Tahimik lang kami pareho habang nanonood, ang cute ni yeji she was too focused sa movie. "gusto mo?" inalok niya ako ng nachos at sinubo iyon sa kin. 

 

 

"what 30 days na puro gabi lang sa kanila?" ang cute. "parang ganon na nga po." sabi ko sa kanya. 

 

 

We continued watching the movie naramdaman kong mas lumapit sa akin si Yeji. "sa likod mo omg." napatingin ako sa kanya hindi niya makain yung nachos na hawak niya dahil natetense na rin siya sa nangyayari. "ughh." napapikit siya ng ipakita yung pugot na ulo ng lalaki. 

 

Ang cute ng mga reaction niya sa mga bawat nangyayari, I should feel bad about sa movie dahil sa nangyayari but mas nangingibabaw yung kakyutan ni yeji. Naramdaman ko ang pagsandal ng ulo niya sa balikat ko. "okay lang ba?" tumingin siya sa akin. 

 

 

"o-of course." I stuttered. Yeji was too close and I hope hindi niya marinig yung mabilis na pagtibok ng puso ko. Inayos ko ang pwesto namin para mas maging komportable siya. 

 

 

For sure, I wouldn't mind staying like this kahit gaano katagal. As long as I'm with Yeji. 

 

 

"hala hoy ituturn niya sarili niya??" yeji looked up to me, nagkatinginan kami dahil we are TOO close sa isa't isa. 

 

I got lost in her eyes and I don't want to be found. 

 

"Eben!!" napatingin kami pareho sa screen ng sumigaw si Jake sa movie. 

 

"oh my gosh." yeji was about to cry na ata when Eben yung bida, turned himself so he can save Stella. He turned himself at hinarap mag-isa yung mga vampires. 

 

 

He needs to distract them so Stella which is nakatago sa ilalim ng kotse ay makaalis dahil kung hindi mamamatay sila sa lamig. 

 

 

"is he gonna die..?" Yeji asked. I don't know actually, but I think oo dahil vampire na siya and the sun is about to rise na dahil tapos na ang 30 days of nights nila. 

 

 

Eben killed the vampire leader, kasabay nang paglabas ng araw. 

 

 

"hala.." I looked at Yeji nung pinakita yung part na magkayakap si Eben at Stella sa ilalim ng araw. "he died.." at unti unting naging abo si Eben. 

 

 

"you're crying, yeddeong." I wiped her tears using my thumb. 

 

 

"nakakainis bakit siya namatay.." she was sulking like a kid. 

 

 

"..but it was a good movie." dagdag niya. 

 

 

"uhmm you wanna watch something?" tanong niya ulit sa akin. 

 

 

"ah gusto kong mag star gazing." yeji looked at me confusedly. 

 

 

"hah? it's kinda cloudy outside hindi visible ang mga stars." sagot niya naman. 

 

 

"i don't have to look outside para lang makakita ng stars." I looked at her, she was confused. 

 

 

"what? paano ka magsstar gazing kung di ka titingin sa labas?" 

 

 

"the stars in your eyes, shines brighter than those in the sky." 

 

it's a sky full of stars and I am staring at her.

 

"kanina ka paaaa." yeji pinched me playfully, ang cute nag-bublush siya. 

 

 

"ah gusto mo ganyan ha?" ginantihan ko siya at kiniliti ko siya. 

 

 

"h-hoy ryuryu-- tama na omg hahaahha! hoyyy." sinusubukan niya akong gantihan pero hindi niya magawa. 

 

 

napatigil ako nang marealize ko na nasa ibabaw niya na ako. she was staring at me and I swear to God I always get lost whenever she stares at me like this. 

 

 

Napalunok ako nang mapatingin ako sa labi niya, it was so tempting to kiss her. I moved my face closer, napapikit naman si Yeji. I was about to kiss her lips when I remembered what I promised to myself, instead of kissing her lips. I kissed her forehead napatingin naman si Yeji sa akin. 

 

 

"i thought you're-" umayos ako ng pagkakaupo sa kama niya. 

 

 

"well, i want to but.." I looked at her. "I don't want to take advantage. We're not yet official so uh just so you know I respect you so much--" 

 

 

My eyes widened when I felt Yeji's lips on mine. 

 

 

She..kissed me. 

 

"you.." she was looking at me while smiling. 

 

"pwede na ba?" tanong niya sa akin. 

 

"what?" 

 

"do i have to kiss you again shin ryujin? i want to be your girlfriend."

 

 

 

 

 

Karina's POV 

 

Sobrang daming nangyari ngayong araw hindi ko alam paano ko ipo-process lahat but I got Minjeong by my side the whole day.

 

 

Hindi kami pumasok ngayon, ate told me to do so 
habang inaasikaso nila yung case against sa magaling kong ex-boyfriend, Kai. Winter told me everything, she showed me the evidences too. I didn't expect Kai will do that hindi ko ma-gets he was the one who left me tapos may galit pala siya kay Winter?

 

 

Napakagago and I won't let him get away with this. As for Chaewon? I don't know I haven't talked to her yet though sabi nga ni Winter gusto ako makausap nung tao. She would like to apologize personally sa nagawa niya. 

 

 

Thinking about what happened, kahit hindi naisip gawin ni Chaewon yon for sure Kai will still do it no matter what. Napadali nga lang yung ginawa niya because someone did it already before him. What a coincidence right? Ang pinagkaiba lang Chaewon admitted her fault and even helped us to catch the real criminal. I don't think gugustuhin pa namin siya 
sampahan ng kaso. I don't know let's see what might happen na lang. 

 

 

"adi." napatigil ako sa pag-iisip ng tawagin ako ni Winter, galing siya sa kitchen para kumuha ng drink nandito kasi kami sa sala ngayon at nanood ng kung ano ano sa netflix. "hm?" tumabi siya sa akin at hinawakan ang kamay ko. "you're thinking about something?" tanong niya sa akin. 

 

 

"yeah, i'm..i don't know..you think magiging okay na lahat?" pag nakulong ba si Kai okay na lahat? ang dami kong iniisip natatakot ako somehow hindi ko alam anong nangyari kay Kai at  naging ganito siya, he wasn't that same person na kilala ko noon. 

 

 

"hey, everything will be fine. inaasikaso na ng mga ate natin yung warrant of arrest para kay kai. i'll make sure he'll pay for this." she rubbed her thumb on my hand. "relax ka lang mahal okay?" 

 

 

isinandal ko ang ulo ko sa balikat niya. she really knows how to calm me down. "thank you, puppy." 

 

"oh..have you seen this?" napatingin ako kay winter bigla. "ano yun?" tanong ko. 

 

Ipinakita sa akin ni Winter ang IG story ni Ryujin. "officialy mine." ang caption na may picture nila ni Yeji. 

 

"oh my gosh-" then kasunod eksakto yung IG story ni Yeji na picture din nila ni Ryujin. "mine mine mine." naman ang caption. 

 

 

"I knew it, kaya pala iba ang aura ni ryujin kanina sa picture na sinend ni aeri sa gc namin." Winter shook her head. "aura ng hindi single." dagdag niya. 

 

 

"grabe- i'm so happy for them!" agad kong chineck ang gc namin magkakaibigan and just like what I expected Lia, Ning and Yuna bombarded Yeji ng questions. "nagbabardagulan na sila sa gc namin, we are really not expecting this kasi sabi ni yeji magco-commit lang daw siya sa relationship after grumaduate." sabi ko naman. 

 

"wala e kapag tumibok ang puso wala ka nang magagawa kundi sundin ito." natawa ako ng kumanta si winter na may kasama pang sayaw. 

 

 

nag-message ako sa gc to congratulate Yeji and Ryujin ang cute talaga ng mag kaibigan ko ayaw nila sa gc magkwentuhan we need live chikahan sa kung paano nangyari ang ryeji, well yuna invented their
