“’Every one of us would die in order to help you. Just let us know about your plans.’ That’s what the man said earlier!” Jongin’s eyes were sparkling.
“Well, I sure hope you didn’t let him know,” a sharp voice said from somewhere behind him. “And everyone can talk about dying for a good cause. When the Patrol returns, they will up to them like everyone else does.”
Jongin wasn’t surprised at Luhan’s argument. “Who says they will? Everything is better than doing nothing, right? Why can’t other people try to fight them?”
“Because normal people will only get themselves killed like this. We won’t. As a team.”
“That’s why you’re telling us everything you know about our mission, right?” The words left Junmyeon’s mouth before he could stop them. “Because we’re a team?”
The group went dead silent. Junmyeon turned around to face Luhan and the others quickly scurried out of their way.
Even Luhan was speechless for a few moments. “I already told you this doesn’t concern you.”
“I’m your leader. Everything between you and the Tree concerns me.”
Luhan smirked. “If this isn’t the first time you've called yourself a leader.”
