Joohyun stares blankly at her laptop’s screen. She has been in fact trying hard to focus on her job the whole day. The doctor has found herself in this situation after entering the second week she has not seen the producer. Right, it’s been two weeks since the last time she saw the blonde, that’s because the session for last week was canceled by Seungwan and there’s no particular reason given as to why, on top of that, there was no confirmation according to Jisoo if it would resume this week, specifically today.

In fact, nothing much changed ever since the last time they saw each other just the fact that the session was moved, or that’s what she thought. Joohyun initially felt that something shifted with whatever they had the night she introduced her brother and daughter to Seungwan and to be very honest she actually felt relieved when she did because it’s been bugging her that Seungwan does not know. It’s been one of the major concerns she has in all scenarios of potential partners. Given that, it’s the main reason why Joohyun is apprehensive about dating. Because one, she does not want to get left behind again, because this time it’s not just her that will be hurt but also her daughter. Two, how many countless dates she had that ended up with the other person never contacting her once they knew she has a kid.

Joohyun can’t help but overthink because what if Seungwan decided that Joohyun is not her cup of tea because she has a kid? So imagine the doctor’s distress when the producer canceled out of nowhere. It confirmed her hunch that Seungwan has been avoiding her because ever since that day, Seungwan has been replying shortly and late to her, saying she’s always busy and that she’s not available.

The doctor glanced at her wall clock’s office, three fifty-five - it reads. Seungwan is late, or is she not because she’s not going again today? She’s never one to arrive late or on time because she always arrives ahead with 15 mins to spare. Joohyun can’t help but sigh and lean back on her office chair to rest her back as she closes her eyes.

It has been a while ever since she rested her eyes, she’s about to give up on waiting as she completely admits and let the disappointment settle in that the producer won’t show up again but she heard the door slowly creaking open. Joohyun immediately darted her eyes to the door and she was met with Seungwan panting heavily but still trying to smile to greet the doctor. Joohyun raises her brows at that. “Uhm h
