Unfair

After Kim Junmyeon capsizes their boat, Baekhyun realizes that Hei doesn’t actually have a change of dry clothing.

Set: Chapter 16 of Cutlass, when Baekhyun lends his clothes to Hei after all of hers are soaked.

Baekhyun had been too preoccupied sorting out just what they’d be doing regarding Kim Junmyeon with Luhan to remember that out of the three of them, Hei was the only one who didn’t have anything dry to wear. Luhan had transported a large proportion of their belongings onto the ship beforehand, some of which was clothing. Hei, on the other hand... 

“Make sure Junmyeon’s secure,” he told Luhan as he stood up.

Luhan raised an eyebrow. “And where are you going?”

“Getting Hei dry clothing. Pretty sure all of hers is wet.”

Luhan’s eyebrow went higher. “You’re being really nice to her.”

Baekhyun rolled his eyes. “I’m always nice to her.”

“But not to me?”

“I’m nice to people who deserve it,” he called over his shoulder, and in his periphery, he saw Luhan flip him off. Baekhyun turned to his cabin.

Sure enough, Luhan had transported a fair amount of clothes to his closet already. They were all clean, but he flipped through a pile and tried to find the smallest size possible. Hei was a good amount shorter than he was, and while there was no way any of his clothes would fit, something smaller would be better than nothing.

By the time Baekhyun had turned his closet upside down with his searching, he’d come up with nothing. He ended up grabbing one of his nightclothes before heading down the stairs to find Hei.

Her door had been left open by a crack, and Baekhyun could see her sitting on the bed. He knocked twice, toed it open, and for good measure, raised a hand to his face.

“Tell me you’re not changing,” he said, watching her expression through the crack in her fingers.

To his delight, Hei’s face went red. She was still quick enough to snap, “You can already see.”

Baekhyun grinned at her. “Caught me.” H
