Epilogue

Taehyung watched as Jisoo sleep. It had been a week and she hadn't open her eyes. Jimin said Jisoo's vitals are now stable, but her recovery is slow. By now, almost everyone in the pack started the trainings again, ready to get back to shape. But Taehyung chose to stay beside Jisoo day in and out, wanting to be the first one she sees once she opened her eyes.

And then it happened. Slowly, he saw Jisoo's eyes fluterring... and then they opened slightly.

"Hey..." he greeted, his chest is bursting with excitement, relief and joy.

Jisoo's eyes narrowed, confused.

"You're in my room. On my bed." Explained Taehyung.

He saw it when she slowly understood his words. And then Jisoo relaxed.

"Why am I here?" Asked Jisoo, her voice croaky.

"Because you're my mate." Said Taehyung. "This is where you belong."

Jisoo sighed.

"I know I am your mate. You keep repeating that over and over, how can I forget?" Said Jisoo

Taehyung smiled then. He can finally smile again! He pulled Jisoo in his arm and buried his face on Jisoo's hair.

"I missed you." He whispered with so much longing. "You have no idea how happy I am right now."

Jisoo wrapped her arms around him.

"I missed you too... so much." Said Jisoo

They held each other tight for a while before Taehyung moved a little.

"You scared me... Jisoo... I have never been that scared in my life..."

"You scared me too. I almost lost you, remember?" Said Jisoo

Taehyung's eyes looked red and overly moist as he stared at her.

"The enemies are gone now. There is no one who's going to take you away from me now." Said Taehyung.

Jisoo smiled.

"We finished them?"

Taehyung nodded.

"They are no more." Said Taehyung.

"The pack..."

"They are all safe because of you. Everyone made it out." Said Taehyung.

"But I wouldn't have made it out without you. You came for me." Said Jisoo

"I will always come for you." Said Taehyung.

Taehyung held Jisoo's hand as he kissed it.

"Do you remember what you said before you fainted?" Asked Taehyung

What she said? She did want to say something before she fainted...
