RAINBOW BRIGADE WARRIOR CHAPTER 2: THE BIG AGENCY

RAINBOW BRIGADE WARRIOR - PROLOGUE

A restaurant is one of the best places to measure human interaction. People have fun,

people fight, people go there to strengthen relationships, or even to severe existing one.

At the second floor of the restaurant, Ji-ae enjoyed watching all these. She could see

everything from her table. On both floors of the restaurant too. She took another sip of her

margarita. Eyes fixed on the door.Waiting for her chance at the big league to walk through it.

Suddenly she felt very nervous. Would she get it? She better get it. She did not have any

other choice. And she hated this. This feeling of being trapped. Of having no other option left

to take. That made her very nervous. This would not have happened if they just do as I say.

At the thought of her former bosses, her nervousness subsided. Replaced by anger. How

dare a small company like RBW wanted to teach her how to run things. She had delved

herself into the career of many successful artists.

That anger gave her confidence. I will get this job. I deserve it. There’s no one better than

me. A smile formed on her lips. Not the nice warm smile of a human. Instead a cold, proud,

arrogant, egotistical smile. She raised her margarita to her lips again.

Just then a man walked up the stairs. With a cool, dark and elegant air surrounding him.

Pulling people's attention over. Yet there’s a hint of dangerousness to him that distance

himself from those that wanted to go closer. Ji-ae noticed the man walking toward her, the

man she had been waiting for. The man stops in front of her table, smiles and extends her hand.

The dark red hue of wine fills the clear crystal glasses. Jang Yoo Ryung smiled at the waiter

before nodding at her, gesturing for her to leave. “I heard you quit RBW? May I know why?”

Ji-ae was shocked when Yoo Ryung suddenly jumped straight to the point. “I’m sorry, I never

like to beat around the bush.” Ji-ae smiled, “That’s okay. I’m just surprised is all. It’s not a big

deal. The CEOs and me had a different style of doing things. RBW was...too ambitious for

me.” “ahh yes. I knew those two. Very idealistic minds those two. Always thinking like Don

Quixote, trying to change the world.” for the first time, someone else agree with Ji-ae. “So

you DO know them. And what’s up with that? Why would you hire idols if they are going to

look normal? Why would you go out of your way to gamble your way just in the name of

doing something different?”

Yoo Ryung let Ji-ae took a breath after she unload it all to him. “I agree with what you said

Miss Han, why change when the system is perfect. This industry depends on idols making

sacrifices. It’s their choice anyway to be in this industry. What’s wrong with small sacrifices.”

Ji-ae slumped to her chair. “Tell me about it.” Amused, Yoo Ryung raised his glass. Ji-ae

followed suit and raised her glass as well. “What are we drinking to?” He stopped for a while,

as if pondering for the right word. “How about one for consistency? For inconsistency meant

chaos.” “I’ll drink to that. To consistency!” their glass clinked. Ji-ae quickly gulped down the

whole glass. “So about these girls. Think you could brief us folks at the agency tomorrow.”

“there’s not much to talk about, but sure i’d be fine with that. But why?” “We would like to be

prepared in case they ever make wave with this new girl group.” “Sure whatev...wait,

TOMORROW? You mean…?” “Yup you got the job. Report in our agency tomorrow okay.”

Ji-ae was very happy. Yoo Ryoung pour her another glass. And they drink happily through

the night.
