I broke up with my boyfriend so now i'm writing angsty fanfic again a year after i stopped lmao also i didn't read the past chapters to figure out what on earht is going on so forgive me for any plot holes

Yoohyeon POV
    Yoohyeon regretted sipping all of the potions. The welts were burning on her legsand her sides. The sleep potion was making her dizzy as she ran through the woods trying to find the lake.
    Barely able to see in front of her, she ran with out care until she approached a clearing. She dove into the water barely feeling the salt water stinging her flesh. She missed the mission card lying on the table next to the lake.
     There was a paper on how to see under the salt water, and how to find who they took from her. And of course more poertry and yada yada yada. But, she was sick of the god damn poetry. She just dove. She opened her eyes allowing the salt to sting, as she swam deeper and deeper not daring to go up for air. She had enough breath training at her kingdom that she could hold her breath for long periods of time but, she also knew that if she went up her eyes would feel like they were on fire. She had one chance. Finally she saw a hand and finally she saw Dami. and suprisingly another person there. She saw the princess's little sister. She found a sharp rock at the bottom of the lake and started knawing at the rope holding Dami.
    Somene was coming for the princesses little sister right? but, who was the contestant.. it didn't make sense.. She looked next to dami and saw empty rope. She must be the last one. She was running out of oxygen too. as Dami floated towards the surface Yoohyeon was still next to Gahyeon. As much as she pulled Gahyeon would not be released. As a last attempted she bit down on the wrote and yanked with her hand and teeth to tear it. Her vision was going black as she finally loosened the rope. She held gahyeon and started the swim back to the surface. Her armor was holding her down but she couldnt take it off she knew it would expose her and her kingdom. Her arms were moving slower than she thought they were and it was too heavy to lift her head anymore. a black curtain was pulling over her eyes and she felt her self being pulled up. As she was being dragged to shore she could hear herself screaming in pain as she held her eyes. Non salt water was poured on her face trying to get the stinging away. Someone put a towel over her too.

JIU POV.

    Hanyu's kingdom wasn't super magic friendly but ocationally it was used. For example right now there were screens with all of the contestants and what they were doing projected on a wall. It was triggered when they picked up the first letter. Minji watched each contestant, Prince Yoohyeon had gotten the latest start with Sir Eric Nam getting the quickest. She noticed Eric was smart but he chose the wrong order, first he went to the pool and retreived the person he was closest too but by the time he had gotten back the other person we had taken was gone. not dead just taken from the infirmary to get actual help. They had a window with the poison and if the contestants missed the window they were out. The other two were just idiots, they reached the infiramry at the same time and fought each other. Niether of them completing either challenge. The crowd favorite and current #1 had an easy time getting to the infirmary. Too easy but she was distracted because in the bed lyinging
