** just updated this chapter and made it longer

this chapter is heavily influenced by harry potter book four :)it was also supposed to be a longer chapter but i decided to split it up so you can finally get an update

...also i totally realized that i never said who the medic is. it's Wendy... as usual. I thought about making it whee in but then it didn't happen plus if i ever make the moonsun (maybe they didn't die as the queen thought...) spin off of this fic I would want her to be more in that story.

Yoohyeon POV

Yoohyeon woke up alone. Neither Dami nor her trusted outgoing Medic was by her side. She felt around beside her before opening her eyes. She stood up with a start. Maybe they could have gone to get breakfast. She looked around for a clock that was neatly placed beside her bed. She didn't remember it being there last night. but the closer she looked at the clock the stranger it looked. it seemed to be still and instead of three hands, there was one. The numbers were outlined in gold and it started at three then two then one than zero. With little marks in between. as she approached the strange clock she saw a note tucked underneath. It matched the clock but it shimmered in a way that didn't seem possible. Yoohyeon concluded that it had to be laced with magic. Her worry grew for her friends that were no longer with her and wondered about their whereabouts. without thinking further she impulsively grabbed the sealed letter from underneath the clock. Immediately after she grabbed it the clock started to tick. She sighed knowing that she should have thought of a better way but she was relieved that the trap wasn't anything more than a trigger for the timer. She quickly opened the letter

To the Prince of the Kim Kingdom 

we have taken two, one who is deep in the blue. 

we have taken two, and ree

Don't be too alarmed she wasn't too harmed

the fearless one we have put quite deep

She's easy to find if you take a leap

the other is laying in the infirmary

Yoohyeon felt goosebumps on her skin and suddenly the clicking of the clock grew so loud. It was hurting her ears. Every time she heard a tik she flinched. She was still standing there, in front of the timer only about 5 seconds had gone by she felt frozen. Her hands over her ears as the clock pierced her eardrums. She quickly put her armor on and while she did the clock started to quiet down. and instead, she felt rage. Towards her father and the trials and worst, she felt rage towards Princess Minji. Who in their right mind thought so well of themselves that they were willing to kill innocent people. and her father he didn't just threaten her own life, he was threatening Sir Knight Dami her best friend and a Young Medic who had barely gotten to start at the Kingdom, to begin with. She knew she had to calm down if she was going to get anywhere. but the anger she felt was so much. She picked up the timer which slowly transformed and molded into a gold pocket watch. She tucked the magical item into her pocket and went through the letter again.

It wasn't a test of smarts because the letter wasn't really in riddle form it was quite straight forward so it must be of quick thinking, agility, or just maybe general knowledge. Yoohyeon knew they had taken Dami and put her underwater probably with magic. She knew they had taken the medic and poisoned her somehow. As much as she wanted to rush to her best friend's side she knew that the medic was probably the more desperate person seeming as magic wasn't keeping her alive. She quickly ran to the infirmary. only to find wendy wasn't there. She looked at the empty beds and then back at the letter dumbstruck. and then it hit her. She
