“This is where you will be staying. You'll be engaged to my son for a year before getting married. It should give you enough time to adjust to things around here.” Mr. Park says as he sets down my bag.

I let off a sigh and look around the lavish home. It honestly feels like a fancy prison to me. How did I get myself into a situation like this? Well, that's going to take a bit of explaining.

All my life I've never done anything out of impulse, never went crazy. I'm just your average parent pleasing goodie goodie. I don't go to parties, I don't have one night stands, I barely stay out passed midnight. So this begs the question of how the hell I got myself into a situation like this. Well my stupid father got involved with a loan shark to pay off some major gambling debts. One thing lead to another and here I am. Engaged to a loan shark's son.
