Still on a high from the fan event, the girls eventually made their way back towards the car and assumed their various places - Seulgi and Yeri occupying the back seats as they playfully pushed each other, Joy taking the single spot near the window, while Joohyun and Seungwan chose the seats in front.

As they settled down, Joohyun placed their intertwined hands on her lap, slightly shy and playing with Seungwan’s fingers to downplay the blush that was still on her cheeks. Noticing her reaction, Seungwan looked at her girlfriend and nudged her gently.

“Penny for your thoughts?”

But before Joohyun could answer, their youngest chimed into their conversation, a smirk on her face indicating that she was up to no good.

“Joohyun-unnie’s probably thinking of ways to reward you, Wendy-unnie. I bet she just loved how you saved her from all those Jenga blocks!”

Eyes wide at the implication of Yerim’s statement, Joohyun turned around to retaliate but the other girl was already hiding behind Seulgi who was also laughing at their antics.

Joy finally decided to join in with the teasing. “Yerim’s right. I swear Wendy-unnie looked like a superhero back there.”
