Donghae sat across Seowon on her playing mat and happily watched her squeeze the stuffing out of the yellow monkey stuffed animal she was holding. A bunch of other toys surrounded both of them on the floor but despite the mess, Donghae's eyes could only focus on his daughter who was now busy trying to pull the monkey's ear off its head. 

"Seowon-ah, what are you doing?" He asked her with a laugh. She gave him a quick glance but didn't stop squeezing the top of the monkey's head. "You're going to break your toy if you keep doing that."

Seowon's response was to hit the top of the monkey's head as hard as her little hands could before throwing the monkey away across the room. She crawled over  to the next toy in sight and grabbed the toy piano Shindong had gifted her earlier. Donghae crawled on the mat after her and hovered right on top of her before sweeping Sewon up in his arms and grabbing her along with the piano she was playing with earlier. She squealed in delight then stretched her hands forward asking for Donghae to bring her toy closer. 

"Should we make music together? You know, Donghae Appa used to write a lot of music in college." Donghae fondly reminisced. "It's how I got the money to spoil your Hyukkie Appa cause he always wasted his buying ramen." 

Seowon giggled then randomly pressed on the keys of the piano. Donghae loved to hear her laugh and couldn't help but squeeze her in his arms while placing a long kiss on the side of her face.She squealed Donghae's show of affection and completely abandoned the toy she was playing with in exchange for Donghae's attention. Seowon looked up at him and reached up to touch the side of Donghae's face, just lightly tapping away as though it was the most interesting thing in the world. Donghae laughed and just looked at his daughter with the same fondness, making funny faces along the way to keep her entertained. 

Meanwhile, Hyukjae was in the bedroom with a stack of his clothes thrown randomly into a small mountain pile as he tried on the last pair of jeans he owned in front of the mirror. He took in a deep breathe, tried his best to in his stomach and made a quick attempt to button his jeans close, but no matter how hard he tried to pull the band together, or how long he tried to hold his breath, the gap between the hole and the button of his jeans never quite made it close enough for it to fit him. He gasped out loud as he finally released the air he's been holding before falling back down on his and Donghae's shared bed then promptly lying  on his back as he let the feeling of defeat and disappointment wash over him. 

Hyukjae didn't have much time to wallow in self-pity as a few seconds later, he heard the bedroom door open and saw Donghae entering with Seowon in his arms. 

"Annyeong Appa~," Donghae greeted with his high pitched voice as he carried Seowon into the room facing Hyukjae. "Me and Handsome Appa have been waiting for you for an hour~ Can we go yet?"

Hyukjae wanted to scowl and throw a pillow at Donghae's face but seeing Seowon kicking her little feet up in the air and smiling at him, he decided that that could wait later. Donghae placed Seowon down at the base of their bed and watched her enrgetically crawl to where Hyukjae was currently resting. The latter grinned widely at their daughter and as soon as she got close enough, opened his arms up widely to welcome her into his arms. 

"Annyeong Seowonnie," he cooed at Seowon before cradling her in his arms. "Did you get tired of Annoying Appa's face? Is that why you wanted to see me?" 

Donghae's mouth dropped at what Hyukjae said before turning into a pout. It didn't help that Seowon ended up giggling and putting her arms around Hyukjae's neck as though to further validate his words. Hyukjae's heart swelled at his daughter's hug but also smirked at Donghae knowing that the other was absolutely jealous that their daughter was way more affectionate towards him than the other. 

"Yah!" Donghae burst trying hard not to glare at his husband. Hyukjae laughed and completely forgot about his earlier wardrobe dilemma as he adjusted his placement on the bed and placed Seowon in between his legs. 

"I've got nothing to wear." Hyukjae sidetracked now that his daughter was occupied playing with the pile of tshirts he had placed on the bed. "None of these fit me anymore!"

"I told you, Hyuk. We have to start buying clothes to-...um, to adjust with your body changes." Donghae made sure to choose his words carefully lest he wants another round of nagging and mild bodily injuries from his husband. "You can just wear my sweats for today and we can get something from the mall." 

"No. I'm not going." Hyukjae argued while watching his daughter on the bed. "You go. You know my size and what I like so you can go buy it for me." 

Donghae was a little perplexed at Hyukjae's demand for him to buy his maternity clothes for him. It wasn't that he didn't want to do it -- he'd be more than happy to! - but juding by Hyukaje's current unpredictable state of emotions and his constant selective memory of choosing to remember what he did or did not say, he knows this was something he better do with the other than alone. Lucky for him, he was saved by the sound of the doorbell ringing. 

"Oh thank god!" Donghae said out loud unknowingly. Hyukjae looked at him with a raised eyebrow, clearly asking what the hell that heaved of relief was for, to which Donghae immediately covered up by standing on his feet and snatching Seowon away from Hyukjae's lap to use as a shield. "I'll go open the door," he muttered in haste trying to dig himself out of trouble before Hyukjae could snap at him. He grabbed Seowon's hand and lifted it up in the air so she could wave a tiny goodbye at Hyukjae, obviously using her cuteness to his advantage. "We'll wait for you downstairs, okay?"

"Yah! Lee Donghae!" Hyukjae screamed trying to get him to stay but he was already past out the door. "I don't have anything to wear!" 

Donghae moved quickly and shut the door behind him. Seowon laughed at how quickly his Appa ran out the room and completely enjoyed the short ride she went through. The doorbell rang one more time and this time, Donghae did hurry to answer the door. 

Today was a special day because today was the first day they're going to bring Seowon to the aquarium. Leeteuk had surprised them with the tickets after he had won it a raffle at work. After the hectic few months they've had, today would have been the first day where they can actually do something as a family that's not related to anything hospital related. A much needed relaxation for both Donghae and Hyukjae. 

"Finally!" Heechul snapped as soon as Donghae opened the door. "I understand why Hyukjae would be slow but unless he knocked you up too, there's no reason to keep me waiting outside for that long." 

Donghae just pursed his lips tights while smiling at Heechul as he adjusted his hold on Seowon in his arms. "It's nice to see you too, Hyung."

Leeteuk and Kangin both shook their heads at Heechul before going in after them. 

"Just be glad you didn't have to pick him up." Kanging told Donghae before smiling at Seowon and showing a playful finger at her nose. "Annyeong, pretty baby. How are you?" 

Seowon scrunched her nose before burying her face to the side of Donghae's neck. Donghae patted the back of her head and laughed quietly at her daughter's shy display. 

"What's wrong? Don't you remember Uncle Kangin and Uncle Leeteuk?" Donghae tried to pass her over to Leeteuk who was eagerly waiting to carry her but as soon as she realized that she was about to be taken away from Donghae, she started frowning deeply before bursting out in tears. Her arms reached out for Donghae and Leeteuk was quick to pass her back to the other. "Aigoo, don't you remember Uncle Teukie anymore?" Donghae wiped her tears with his thumb then allowed her head to rest on his shoulder as he lightly bounced her up and down while patting her back to help calm her down. 

Leeteuk and Kangin followed behind Donghae to the living room where Heechul had already made himself comfortable on one of the living room chairs. Seowon's cries has died down but she still clung quite heavily onto Donghae as though her life depended on it.  

"Where is your lovely other half?" Heechul inquired while casually leaning against the side of the arm chair he was sitting on. "Is he showing yet?"

Donghae snickered and tried not to full on burst out laughing at his brother's choice of phrase. 

"He's doing fine, Hyung. Thanks for asking." He expertly navigated his answer before changing the subject altogether. "How are you and Siwon? Any updates I should know about? Should I be expecting a happy announcement soon?" 

It was Kangin who bursted out with laughter at Donghae's teasing. Heechul narrowed his eyes at him before deflecting the question his way. 

"Before I make that announcement, shouldn't we hear it from those two first?" Heechul smirked and enjoyed the way Kangin stopped laughing just to choke in his own air. "When is it going to be Jungsoo's turn?" 

Leeteuk, despite being an innocent bystander, couldn't help but feel the weight of Heechul's words as well. He looked at his lover beside him and smiled sympatheticallyy at his situation. He very light patted Kangin's back, a small attempt to help soothe the other after choking himself with absolutely nothing. Leeteuk waited until Kangin's condition had settled before adding in his own dig. 

"Who said I even want to get married to this idiot?" 

Heechul and Donghae both guffawed at Leeteuk's remark while Kangin gave him a look that showed a mix of outrage and bemusement. 

Throughout all the commotion that was happening in their living room, Hyukjae decided that he might as well just wear the sweats he wore yesterday and the loose white t-shirt Donghae uses for his work out for now before he worries Heechul or Leeteuk and have them barge into their bedroom. Hyukjae took one final look at himself in the mirror, trying several times to further stretch the already much too big t-shirt he was wearing to try and cover the round shape his stomach was making, but when it kept falling back in place to hug the new form his body, he ended up scowling before walking out of the room. 

Following the trail of Heechul's loud laughter and Leeteuk's high pitched one, Hyukjae couldn't help but smile along hearing those contagious sounds from them. He carefully peaked from the corner to check on what they were doing before his eyes landed on Seowon who was comfortable leaning against Donghae's chest while the latter poked and tease Kangin who was sitting next to him. 

"I will ask him!" Kangin yelled trying to put an end to their teasing. "Just wait and see. You and Hyukjae would wish you hadn't ran away when you see our wedding." 

"Ha!" Hyukjae laughed announcing his arrival. "I'd like to see you put up with the incessant badgering of your future wedding planner," he hinted with his head nodding over at Heechul who was smiling that innocent-but-evil smile of his. "And for your information, Donghae and I didn't run away. We just had a different idea on how we wanted to get married." 

Kangin rolled his eyes while Leeteuk just remained quiet with a tightlipped grin on his face. Obviously still a little bitter that he wasn't able to throw his dongsaeng the wedding of his dreams...for him. Rather than dwell on the past, Leeteuk decided to change the subject by getting up from his seat and walking up to Hyukjae for a hug. 

"Oh my gosh! Look at you!" Leeteuk semi ran his way to Hyukjae with his hands going for his stomach before giving the other a formal hug. "How are you feeling? Is Donghae taking good care of you all?"

At that question, the latter couldn't help but feel offended at what Leeteuk was insinuating. 

"Hey!" He yelled causing everyone else to snicker. "I'm a great husband, thank you very much. Seowonnie will tell you." Donghae propped Seowon to stand on her legs and held onto her waist to keep her up while shaking her lightly as to lightly encourage her to be on his side. "Go on, Wonnie. Tell them what a great and awesome Appa I am." 

Seowon's answer was to wave her arms up and down while stomping her feet on Donghae's legs. Her eyes landed on Hyukjae and as soon as she saw him smile and wave at her, she squaled and moved her body harder against Donghae's hold to try and get closer to the other. If it wasn't for Donghae's fast reflexes, Seowon would have fallen to the ground. 

"Well, at least we know who her favorite is." Heechul commented then fell back laughing when he saw Donghae stick his tongue out at him. 

"As soon as she understands what bribery is, she'll be on my side." Donghae's words were met with a hit on the back of his head courtesy of Hyukjae who pretended to be too busy with Seowon now that he lightly bounced her in his arms. 

"I can't believe how big she's getting already." Hyukjae looked at Leeteuk and saw him cooing at her. "It feels like just yesterday I can fit her in my arms and now she's already kicking harder than Heechul." 

"Yah!" The mentioned man
