phase 3

Hyewon plops on her bed, very much wanting to just ignore everything and rest. ‘Maybe if she finds me sleeping here she’ll think I slept through the entire thing and, thus, won’t be mad at me.’ The thought was very tempting but also very improbable to happen. Hyewon’s supposed to be keeping an eye, after all.
She sighs for the nth time, then pulls out her phone.
“Come on, pick up, pick up…” she chanted, drumming her fingers absently on one of the pillows.
Finally, after what felt like eternity (it’s been five seconds), the call is picked up.
“Hey, Hyewon unnie. What’s up? Please don’t tell me you’re calling because Yena unnie is cheating on the game again.”
“Yuri, hi. No, this isn’t about that- well, I mean, it is partly about Yena.”
“Ugh, what did she do now?”
“Nothing we can’t handle. Listen, Yuri, I need to ask you a favor.”
“Sure, unnie, as long as it’s not financially related,” Yuri says, tone light with laughter.
“No, no, it’s more colonel-related.”
“Oh,” Yuri’s voice drops. A beat, then, “Did- did something happen to Wonyoung?”
