The story is not in chronological order. Xiaotang is looking back on the past which also connects in the present.

This is the fan fiction that nobody asked. Mostly in the fandom they ship Xiaotang with Shuxin, but I wanted to try shipping her with others too. Since Xiaotang is my bias and I also like other trainees from Youth With You, so why not pair her with them? 

Note: My writing style won't be the same in each chapters. I want to try different approach in telling Xiaotang's story. (Diary form, letter form, narrative form, first person perspective)
