You were woken up by the sound of your alarm clock beeping like crazy "Aight, I'm up I'm up.." you groan as you reach for the clock to turn it off, you sit up and rub your eyes as you yawn. "Time to get ready for work"

You're a talented Chef who graduated from a very famous culinary school in Paris, you worked your off to start your own business but ended up feeling drained and burned out from all the pressure from your relatives, you have a family and yet you felt disconnected from them, that's why you left to study in Paris it was better to be away.

Yes, one might say you have it all. A beautiful house but you live by yourself, a gorgeous ride but it felt lonely everytime you rode it, and a Successful career but you just don't quite seem to feel.. complete.

You shook your head and got out of bed, you hopped in the shower and collected all your things before heading to work.

You said, she just shook her head and smiled at you as you both entered the car "You really have to start reading your emails Casey" she chuckled as you roll your eyes not keeping your eyes completely off the road "Oh c'mon who even reads their email anymore, you could've just texted me" She just shook her head and continued to tease you throughout the way to the location.

When everything is set up and Ellie handling things outside of the kitchen it's time to give a few of your sous chefs a bit of a pep talk "Alright guys, I don't want any mistakes tonight, we're cooking for a few people but that doesn't mean you should slack off aight? Great let's go!" You all scramble and get right to preparing the food for approximately about 20 people or so.

after you're almost done preparing the dishes Ellie enters the kitchen frantically "CASE!! You're not gonna believe you.. you.." she struggles to continue, her lips slightly pale "Aye, slow down, what is it?" You said in a soft calming voice

you try to act cool but you're obviously freaking out yourself, you pull your best friend outside the kitchen to the back door "Casey!! Oh my god it's like college all over again!" Your friend squeals

"Hey no, we have to act like professionals c'mon but okay I'll admit- this is great you know, who would've thought we would serve one of the people who helped us pull through during hell weeks" Your ears heat up as you thought about how close you are to one of the people who motivated you through tough times.
