Bulb and Bruise
Beautiful Pain
Amber's POV
I parked my car and walked towards the front door. “It isn't locked?”
“Krys.” No answer.
“Krystal.”
“Krystal.”
“Kry-”
“Oppa, I'm here at the back!”
“Why did you left the door unlocked? It's dangerous, you know.” , I rolled up my sleeves and took off my tie and. I walked to the back, to see Krystal trying to fix the bulb.
“Hey, what are you doing?” , I asked.
“The bulb can't be used anymore. I have to change it.”
“Come down, let me do it.”
“It's okay, oppa. I'm nearly done.”
“Be careful.”
“Done! Oppa, can you switch on the switch there?”
I pushed the switch button and it worked.
Krystal was trying to climb down the ladder and she slipped. “Krystal!”
As my fast reflexes working, I grabbed her on her waist and she ended up falling on top of me. Thank God, the iron ladder fell next to us.
“Ouch!” , I groaned in pain as we both landed on the floor. I opened my eyes and saw Krystal was looking straight into my eyes.
Dugeun. Dugeun. Dugeun. Dugeun.
Her face was so close that I could feel her breath on my face. With her hand on my chest and my arms hugged around her waist, I fought with my own feelings not to kiss her at this moment.
I knew that she is a pretty woman but I've never realized that she's really pretty being this close to me. She must have felt that my heart was beating fast.
I tried to close our distant slowly. When I was ready to kiss her...
“Unnie, why is the door unlocked?”
Damn it!
It's Krystal's sister, Sooyeon.
Krystal quickly stood up and fixed her blouse.
“Oppa, are you okay?” , she asked me as I got up from the hard floor.
“Y-yeah, I'm fine.”
“Unnie?” , Sooyeon peeked out from the living room.
“Ah, Sooyeon-ah. You have arrived? Why don't you call me first before you came here?” , Krystal walked to her sister.
“I forgot to call you. Here, your car's key. I've drove your car here and parked the car.”
“Thank you, Sooyeon-ah. Do you want to drink something?”
“Can you get me a glass of water, please?”
“Sure, wait here.” , Krystal went to the kitchen.
“Hi Sooyeon. How's classes?” , I asked.
“Classes are good, it's just I'm a bit tired.”
“Why?”
“Assignments, group projects and stuffs.”
Krystal came from the kitchen and handed a glass of water to her sister. She then sat herself beside me on the couch.
“Don't push too hard on yourself, Sooyeon.”
“I know, Unnie. Don't worry, I'll be fine.”
“If anything, you can ask me.”
“Okay, Unnie.”
“It's night already, why don't you just stay here overnight?” , asked Krystal.
“Can I?”
“Of course, you can use Krystal's room.” , I said.
“Unnie's room?”
