The day finally came...

Things went on for usual after the concert and Dami was, in fact, doing very well, at least that is what they are seeing.

All of them took a break from all the jobs they had and kept her company every day, spending her last moments with her, giving her amazing memories before she goes. Everyone knows time is running out but they always kept themselves calm in front of Dami because they know Dami would never want to see them cry over her.

It was almost 6 months after she stopped her treatments and Dami was amazed at how she held out. The day went by normally as usual as they joke around in the dorm until Dami excused herself to the toilet, before she even got to the toilet, she collapsed. Everyone shouted immediately went over to her but she was no longer responding. JiU made a quick call to Doctor Im and also got the ambulance as calmly as she could.

Arriving at the hospital, they were greeted by Doctor Im at the entrance as they immediately wheeled Dami into the Emergency treatment room. All of them was already preparing themselves for the worse the past few months but still could not bear the feeling of losing their dear sister. They were told to wait outside and all of them were just praying for Dami's safety.

The door opened shortly after and Doctor Im walked out dejectedly.

"I'm sorry..." He started "You all might want to spend her last moments with her"

"No... Please tell me you are lying!" Yoohyeon cried

"I'm sorry but it's too late... We have tried our best" Doctor Im replied with a bow

"Yoobin ah... please tell me this is a dream..." JiU whispered

All of them rushed into the room to see Dami peacefully resting on the bed and Dami looked at them with a peaceful smile as well.

"Hey," Dami said weakly

Dami was surrounded by all 6 of them and she took her time looking at all of their faces, hoping to remember them even after she died.

"I'm sorry"

"How many time do you want to apologise, pabo ya" SuA replied softly

"Please take care of yourself after I'm gone, please don't grieve over me for too long," Dami said

"We will, I promise I will take care of all of them as well" JiU replied

"I trust you unnie, you are the best at keeping promises. Do take care of yourself too, don't be too hard on yourself" Dami said

"Hyeon ah" Dami called the crying girl

"Take care of yourself, I can no longer take care of you and your clumsy self. Stop hurting yourself, talk to someone after I'm gone" Dami said sincerely knowing Yoohyeon might keep everything to herself

"SuA unnie, I wrote a song... Can you do the choreography for that song for me? It's a slow song tho... but you can do that right?" Dami asked

"Of course, anything for you" SuA replied immediately

"Siyeon unnie, laugh more... You are the cutest, I admit it" Dami smiled

"I will, I will make sure you can hear my laughter from heaven," Siyeon said

 "Dong unnie, don't be discourage over small things. You are better than what you think you are okay?" Dami said to Handong

Handong couldn't hold back her sobs as she quickly nodded with her hand covering her sobs.

"Gahyeonie, my little baby here... sorry if unnie tricked you too often in the past, that's being a maknae isn't it?" Dami laughed "Take care of yourself, unnie love you okay?"

"I love you too unnie" Gahyeon cried

Knowing her time is almost up, Dami breath in deeply

"I have many regrets in life but I've never regret meeting all of you. Being a part of Minx and Dreamcatcher has been and will always be my happiest days in life. I'm sorry if I'm quiet usually and doesn't know how to fit in but I'm really thankful for all of you to understand me and love me as your family, I will always be watching you all shine, I love all of you" Dami said breathlessly and let out a tear

Everyone held onto her hand as they felt her slowly losing her strength in her body.

"I love you," Dami said with her last breathe before life slipped away from her

All of them cried, hoping for all this to be a dream... looking at their dear sister dying in front of them.

"Dami left all of you a letter, she hopes that all of you would read them back at home," Doctor Im said softly behind them

JiU quickly took over the letters and thank Doctor Im, they stayed a little longer before they were taken back to the dorm by their manager.

The ride was almost pin-drop silent as nobody had the mood to talk as well, Yoohyeon looked to the seat beside her occasionally as she remembered that Dami would always take that seat.

Entering the dorm was torture as well as memories of Dami in the dorm just flashes in front of their eyes and they could see Dami at every single corner of their dorm. 

"Let's all sleep in the same room tonight, I don't think we are all sane enough to be separated... Let's keep each other sane" SuA proposed

"Let's stay in our room? and let's read her letters together... As though she is here with us?" Siyeon asked

All of them nodded and shuffled back into their own room to change

Entering their room was torture for JiU and Siyeon as they were greeted by Dami's belonging straight away.

"Unnie, you okay?" Siyeon asked as soon as she saw JiU freezing in front of Dami's bed

"Yea" JiU replied, snapping back into reality

Everyone gathered in the room shortly and nobody dared to take Dami's bed and decided to leave it as it is. JiU slowly passed each of their letters to them and settled down quickly.

All of them slowly open up the letter that Dami had left for them

"JiU unnie,

Thank you for taking care of me for such a long time. Time passed so quickly, hasn't it? It has been almost 8 years since I've known you and you never failed to make me feel precious and special. 

You brought me back from death once and helped me lived such an amazing life after, please do not blame yourself for whatever that has happened and please be happy.

You always knew when to make the right decision and I really respect you a lot. I'm sorr
