No SignalAll it took was just one misstep.
And now, Yuna found herself hanging mid-air from the ladder that laid across a considerably large crevasse, with only her right hand gripping onto one side of the ladder. “Oh my god, Yuna!” Sowon screamed from the other side of the crevasse, “Try to hold on, I’m coming to get you!”
“Don’t look down, don’t look down, you can do this, just don’t look down,” Yuna chanted to herself, “mind control...” She’s thankful that she took her pole dancing classes seriously (the story behind why she decided to take it up in the first place is certainly an interesting one, but it’s a story for another time, and pole dancing certainly helped her to strengthen her grip over the years), but she could feel her grip slowly faltering. She shut her eyes tightly, trying to fully concentrate on hanging on.
Sowon tried her best to get to Yuna as fast as she could, but she had to be careful not to shake the ladder too much. Mr Tashi came from the other end of the ladder to lend a hand in helping Yuna up.
Having two people walking on the ladder at the same time was making it more and more difficult for Yuna to hold on, especially as they were getting closer to where she was, due to the exponentially increasing vibrations of their footsteps.
