“We’ve finally made it!” Eunbi squealed with delight. “Where shall we set up our tents?” 

There was no one else at the base camp aside from them, since they had decided to climb slightly closer to the end of the peak season.

Mr Tashi led them to the spot his fellow Sherpa had scouted for them. They still had some time before the sunset, so they rushed to set up their tents, in which they will be recharging for the night. Sowon and Eunha helped to prepare dinner for the night, while Eunbi and the two Sherpas helped to set up the campfire. Yuna, however, had stayed back in the tent to clear her mind, and the rest had been very understanding. 

Holding onto a small puppy keychain that Yewon had gifted her before she left for her trip to the Amazon rainforest almost 4 years ago, she thought about how upset Yewon was when, a week before they were to leave for the Himalayas, she had to cancel on Yuna because of the upcoming pitch for the business deal. 

“Yuna, I’m so sorry, but I won’t be able to join you all to climb Everest. The company decided that I had to be on the team for this project so that the rival company doesn’t get the deal instead. I’m really, really sorry...” That had thrown Yuna’s original plan of her confessing her feelings to Yewon, literally on the top of the world, out of the window. Yet, she did not let the disappointment show on her face
