"Don't forget fellow Wildcats, Winterfest tickets are still on sale!"

The school's announcer exclaimed on the overhead.

"There's less than two weeks to gets get yours before you regret it! The deadline to purchase yours will be on the twentieth. It's a day before the actual event so get on it, Wildcats!"

The announcer moved on to another topic about winter break. Wonho was in math class which was the first class of the day. As he sat near the front of class, Wonho couldn't really do anything when he happened to overhear a conversation between Viboon Suri High School's Gossip Girls consisting of Miseol Ji, Sooyoung Bae, Hana Jang, and one of his closest friends, Somi. Somi sat two rows behind Wonho near the back.

"So Somi, who are you going to Winterfest with?" Hana asked.

Before Somi could even reply, Sooyoung interjected herself into the conversation.

"What guy in their right mind would ask her out for Winterfest?"

"I know right."

Miseol agreed also including herself into the conversation.

"She's just as bad as her nerdy friends and they're not even the hot type of nerdy guys either."

"I know right."

Sooyoung commented with a laugh.

"They're all acne-faced with glasses making their eyes bugged-like."

The trio laughed loudly which the class ignored since they had other things to focus on. Unfortunately for Somi the Gossip Girls surrounded her from the left which was Sooyoung, the right which sat Miseol, and from behind where Hana occupied. Somi couldn't escape and tried not to cry so that they wouldn't know that their teasing got to her. She only focused on her book and ignored their words. Wonho's hands turned into fists as he endured the words that he knew hurt his friends. Just as he was about to say something, someone else did it first.

"Who says that Somi doesn't have a date for Winterfest?"

A male classmate, Alexander, asked the Gossip Girls. The trio, Somi, and even Wonho turned to look at him.

"You're gonna go to the Winterfest with this nerd? No way."

Miseol scoffed in disbelief.

"You have got to be kidding me. Weren't you supposed to ask me instead?" Hana stated offended by his words.

"What made you think I was going with you in the first place?" Alexander asked with a smirk before glancing at Somi.

"So how about it? Wanna go to the Winterfest with me, Somi?"

Somi's eyes widened as the attention was on her. She didn't know how to respond as she never spoke directly with Alexander before. Plus, why would he even asked her when they never interacted with each other despite being in the same class this year for math. She opened to speak, but nothing came out. She closed it instead.

"It's okay. I'll wait for a response by the end of the day." Alexander said with a smile returning back to what he was doing earlier.

Somi went back to reading her book as the trio shot her disgusted looks but didn't further. Wonho frown as he turned back to the front wondering why he was so upset at Alexander asking Somi to Winterfest. He sighed and went back to his workbook.

"Is it true, Somi?"

Wonho and his friends, Changsub and Jisung, along with Somi settled down for lunch at their usual spot in the corner of the school's cafeteria. Changsub suddenly had asked Somi a question before they could even eat their meal.

"What's true, Changsub?" Somi questioned.

"That Alexander Kim asked you out for Winterfest."

"How do you know that?" Wonho inquired.

"It spread like wild fire." Jisung answered.

"I found out just as first hour ended."

"Seriously?"

Somi was surprised and suddenly became shy at the incident from earlier.

"So are you going with him?" Changsub pressed.

"I don't know."

"What do you mean you don't know?" Jisung exclaimed.

"The Star Track and Field of Viboon Suri High School asked you out. You should say yes."

"Why are you acting so fond of this?" Wonho asked him with an amused look.

"Do you want to go to Winterfest, too?"

"Weren't we supposed to go together?" Changsub interjected before looking over at Somi.

"Well, minus Somi if she accepts Alexander's invitation."

Somi looked up from eating her lunch at her friends.

"Should I accept?"

Before the other three could respond, Alexander happened to stopped by their table.

"Hi, guys." He greeted the quartet then focused his attention onto Somi.

"I have practice today, but you'll think you could give me an answer once practice is over?"

Somi couldn't meet Alexander's gaze, but nodded nevertheless. Alexander smiled.

"I can't wait to hear a good response. See you later at five."

Alexander waved to the other three as he made his way back to his own table of friends that were also on the basketball team.

"Do you even have a good response ready, Somi?" Jisung questioned as Somi shook her head.

"I'm so confused."

Wonho patted her on the back in comfort.

"Don't worry, Somi. We'll be there to support you."

She shot him a grateful smile.

"Thank you, Wonho."

"What's going on here?"

A woman asked in a stern tone upon seeing her male best friend with another woman who's actually his co-worker as the first woman entered the kitchen angrily.

"What are you two doing?"

The two separated from their embrace when the first woman entered the room like they were caught doing something that they shouldn't have. The male tried to explain the situation as the second woman backed away in slight fear upon seeing the other woman's deathly glare in her direction.

"Pim, May just hurt-"

Pim pushed the man out of the way to glare at May.

"It's so typical of you, May. Pretending to play hurt and weak countless of times so that Gun will take care of you. You're so pathetic."

"Pim, it's not like-"

Pim shoved Gun away again not wanting to hear him protect May again like always, even from those long years ago. Dark clouds began to form outside dangerously, but the trio didn't take notice of the sudden change of weather and continued with their current situation.

"Why do you keep doing this, May?" Pim asked her in a hostile tone.

"Why do you always come back to steal him away from me? Time and time again you always take him away from me!"

Pim's voice cracked as silent tears began to fall.

"Why can't you just let me love him in this life time? Why is that so hard for you to do?"

Angry tears began to slide down Pim's face as she pushed May away from her. May looked at Pim with an apologetic and sorrowful expression.

"It's not me, Pim. It's the heavens. It repeats itself." May responded not sure how this information came to her.

"Time always repeats itself so we end up like this time and time again. That's why, Pim."

"I don't believe you. You're such a liar, May." Pim denied May's words as her eyes fell upon the small parring knife on the kitchen counter while taking it in her hand.

"I'll take it into my own hands and won't let time repeat itself this life time around. Die, May!"

"Wait, don't!" Gun shouted as he intercepted and took the stabbing to the lower gut area instead of May.

"Gun!" May shouted as Gun fell into her arms as she caught him while they both fell to the ground.

Pim watched in shock upon what had just happened while staring at the knife.

"I wasn't thinking, right. Gun just got in the way. It just happened. I didn't mean to do it. It's not my fault." She muttered to herself while shaking uncontrollably.

"It wasn't my fault. He got in the way. He got in the way."

Tears fell continously from May's eyes as she watched her love's life fading away the more he gasped for air. May realized that in every life time the other her and Gun met, he always ended up dying so that they couldn't be together because of the curse that Pim had put on her those countless years ago.

"Pim."

May looked up at the other woman with a tear-stained face.

"Let's not be like this anymore."

This broke Pim out of her trance upon hearing the other woman's voice.

"What?"

She made a face like she didn't want to listen to her.

"No, May. If I can't have him, then I will die along with him. This isn't fair."

Just as Pim pointed the parring knife towards her and was about to stab herself, May let go of Gun as she instantly stood up to prevent the other female from taking her own life.

"Pim! Pim, please don't. Don't kill yourself."

She tried to reason with Pim as Pim shook her head not wanting to believe that this situation was happening now.

"No. I can't stand not having the chance to be with Gun."

"Pim, I beg you. Please don't kill yourself."

May held onto Pim's wrists still trying to persuade her from killing herself.

"I love Gun and I know you love him, too, but to save him you have to accept that you guys aren't destined for one another. We've gone through this countless times before and look at where we are. It's still the same in the end no matter what time line we're in."

May and Pim stared at one another before glancing down to the still struggling Gun who was fighting to stay alive. Gun was soon losing conscienceness as his body started to jerk around less and less.

"We've lived countless lives over the years and we always end up alone and our story never moving on. We're stuck in a cycle, Pim." May reasoned upon coming to this realization.

"I beg you, please don't continue with killing yourself. Please take back the curse. Please accept the way fate decided our lives. Let us move on, Pim."

May's tears continued to fall from her face while letting go of Pim's wrists and May's body slowly fell to the floor. She put her hands together in a begging pose and bowed down at Pim's feet.

"Pim, please. I truly beg you to end this countless cycle for good. Please, Pim. Please. Not for me, but for Gun. Please do it for Gun."

Pim closed her eyes while taking in a deep breath. She contemplated on May's words until she glanced at Gun and saw that he was close to death. She realized sadly that she would never be fated with him and that she had to accept that. She had to accept what her fate was. Countless years later, but she finally realized it. She hated this realization. She hated herself for still being like this.

"Okay, May. I take back the curse I've said those countless years ago. I accept my fate for this life time and the others after. I won't kill myself to protect myself." Pim announced in a flat tone as she dropped the knife and looked from May to Gun.

"I won't interfer in yours and Gun's love life any longer. I promise this."

The dark clouds dissipated as the sky became sunny and clear again. May smiled while letting out a relieved breath as she looked up at Pim with a thankful look and bowed once more at her feet. After doing so May went  to check on Gun's condition who stopped coughing and seemed to be slowly breathing reguarly again. The wound he substained had begun to vanished bit by bit.

Pim watched as she closed her eyes not wanting to regret her choice as she looked up towards the ceiling to hold back the tears.

"Reaper V." She called out softly, but no one appeared.

Pim frowned. She called for her grim reaper again despite the other two only being focused on one another.

"Grim Reaper V? Reaper V. Do you hear me? Hello? Reaper V?"

Pim looked about her in hopes of catching the grim reaper and several seconds later Grim Reaper Serena materialized in front of her as the other duo froze in place like time had stop moving for them. Maofah and Nerok followed closely behind a second later, but kept silent.

"Yes?" Grim Reaper Serena answered while casting her eyes onto the pair before turning them onto Pim.

"What took you so long to answer my call?"

Before Reaper Serena could reply, Maofah interjected.

"Sheesh? What happened here? You mudering people now, Pim, when Grim Reaper V could have taken care of that for you?"

The white feline flittered from the frozen pair and hovered above Pim's head as Nerok floated to his side with a frown upon his face.

"Why do you always assume the worst, Maofah?"

"Bec
