Sooyoung was sitting in front of her apartment building. A couple of kids were playing while their mothers were in a corner, talking. 
"Did you see the new man who came yesterday?"
"Ah yes, yes. He is staying in 404 right?"
"He is so tall and good looking."
"And friendly too, Ji Hoonie kept asking whether he could play with his basketball, he just gave it to him." 
"True, True. Talked to him today morning, such a sweetheart and by the way he works out in the morning," Ha-On's mom said, her little eyes twinkling.
"Finally, someone to light up our corridor" Ji-Hoon's mother laughed.

Sooyoung could hear as the mothers continued to gush about their new neighbour. It was surprising that she had no idea about it considering she would have heard the ruckus of moving in. But considering she was locked up in her room working to meet her deadline, it made sense.
Well, either way, they were bound to meet, she lived right next to him. Maybe even earlier than she expected.

Next day, she was waiting for the elevator, when the mystery neighbour decided to poke his head out. Ah, the morning work out and to her delight, his dog trailed behind him. She automatically directed her attention to the dog, enamoured by his cute ears. She glanced at her neighbour for permission while he gave a slight nod, a smile indicating that this happened often. She crouched down, as his dog looked at her curiously.
